Song Zhuyu blinked, a hint of amusement flickering in his silver eyes. Did she just ask him what he was, and not who? Shouldn't it be him who posed this question? Feeling a little mischievous, Song Zhuyu placed his right hand over his left chest and bowed with flourish.
"A human, in the flesh," he quipped with a faint trace of humor. "That reminds me, I haven't had the chance to thank you for your timely help last time. As much as I'd like to sit down and have a long conversation with you, I have a sick person to attend to. See?" He lifted the meal box in his hand, shaking it a bit for emphasis. "Can we take a raincheck?"
Song Zhuyu had said so many words, but unfortunately none of them seemed to register in her mind. She looked visibly shaken at the sight of the meal box in Song Zhuyu's hand as though she had seen something horrifying.
