An accident with an airhead

"What a headache." Ali said and sighed as he started driving towards his home.

His mother being the devout follower of God and good karma has agreed to let Shashi stay at their place until they find her parents. So he wanted to go and see if the little devil was all settled in or not.

He was also worried that his sister who's probably at home nowadays would bully her or kick her out in a temper.

But with all that conversation with Aarvi, his mood was ruined now, and he just wanted to just sit in silence and calm down for a while.

'Should I go to the hospital to get a bandage?' Ali wondered as his car crossed a medical shop. "Nah, if mom learned I got injured again, she'd ground me for days." Ali said and shook his head. "I should just get Emily to do it."

"But she's probably at home with Shashi,... Fuck it, I'll just fo it myself." Ali said and changed the direction of his car towards his private office.

[Ding]

[Em - Isha will be at the company to renew her contract today in an hour, so you can go and meet her.]

[Her national tour starts two days later, so she'll leave this city tomorrow morning.]

Reading the message from Emily, Ali sighed and changed his routes again. "Let's just go and meet another heroine first."

Isha Gaekwad, the only daughter of the famous Samraj Gaekwad, the king of Goa.

A proper princess is what she is.

Her family had held onto their Royal status and luxurious life for over a century now. But all that drama of nobility and pride of royal reach didn't sit well with the modern Isha.

So instead of being the kind and elegant princess inside an empty castle, she ran away from home and chose to become a celebrity of the whole country.

Her dream is to become a star of the ages.. Someone whom the whole country can recognize and become a fan for.

She started out small (according to her standards) with some modeling gigs and then to starring in some music videos and later turning into a singer herself.

It's only been 2 or some years since her debut, and she's already one of the most famous artists. And her fan following is just growing popular day by day.

Due to her appearance and story, there are millions of die hard fans to back her up. She's even considered a role model for every young and dreaming girl hesitating for her career.

"I don't even have to meet her to know that she's a heroine." Ali thought as he remembered all the articles he read about her. "Fate or destiny is such a terrible author to write something this shitty."

'A princess and a poor prince, I guess their love story would work out just like a fairy tale, won't it?' Ali thought and shook his head.

"Wait, if Isha is leaving this city now, how would she meet Kevin?"

"Or maybe she comes back when Kevin already has one or two girls in the bag, and she joins the harem later on."

"Such a headache." Ali thought and stopped thinking about it. The more he thought about Kevin's plot and heaven's methods the more he felt like he was losing brain cells.

Like first of all how come Kevin even made a harem in a world where no one else has it. And how come all these proud and perfect girls agree to share the bed and sleep with this poor pest.

"I just read the news this morning that a woman kicked her cheating husband in the nuts so hard that his whole life turned into no nut November, but I bet if it was the protagonist he'll be having a threesome in that place. Why?"

Ali, who was in a bad mood over his argument with Aarvi kept thinking wildly in his head and cursing this and that for no reason, suddenly looked ahead and noticed a scooter moving at sloth speed.

He pressed the horn and hit the brakes instantly, but as his luck would have it, he still ended up hitting the scooter.

The girl driving the scooter lost her balance and fell down.

Seeing the accident, the cars moving around slowed down instantly as their drivers poked their heads out like they're watching their favorite drama unfold.

"This day sucks." Ali said as he banged his hand over the steering wheel, and got out to see if the opposite party was hurt or not.

Looking at the girl dressed in white kurti top with blue denim jeans, Ali moved his hand forward to help her stand up. But the girl with her head covered in a run down color drained helmet just ignored him and started looking at her scooty.

Slowly standing up she tried to pull her scooter up, but failed to lift the weight of it.

Ali moved forward to help her as he grabbed the handle and pulled it straight. Passing her vehicle to her own hands, Ali looked at her and asked "Hey, you aren't injured, right?"

But the girl again ignored him and started checking her two wheeler, trying to find all the scratches and dents it got after falling down. Breathing a sigh of relief that nothing was broken except the side mirror.

'She didn't hit her head and went insane, did she?' Ali thought, noticing her weird behavior. 'Or is she mute?'

'But I did hear her scream when she fell down earlier.'

"Since you're fine, I'll go back." Ali said and turned around to leave, before some idiot roadside romeo popped up and picked a fight with him to impress this girl.

But just then the girl who was silent all this time finally found her voice and stopped him.

"Stop, where are you going?" She said as she stepped up and stood in front of him. Removing the helmet from her head, she pointed her finger at his face and shouted "Don't you have any decency to apologize after crashing into someone. You nearly drove over me, you know?"

"I did come to help you, didn't I?" Ali said, hearing her fuming tone. "And besides I was driving carefully, you're the one who was moving at snail speed in the middle of the road. If you just drove a little bit faster, you wouldn't be hit." He said hearing the girl who threw all the blame on him.

"Ohh, so it's my fault now for following the speeding rules near a traffic light." The girl said, fixing her hair behind her ears, "And what help, you just came and went back. I know rich guys like you don't care about anything, but at least for moral's sake don't be a blind man."

"Me, blind." Ali said, pointing at himself doubtfully.

"Of course. If not you then who else. I'm telling you until you pay me for my loss I won't let you go. I'll even call the police if I have to." The girl said and moved her eyes to the side. "And don't think about running away, I already noted down your number plate."

Ali, just stood there staring at this dumb girl who was fuming over a broken mirror and creating this drama.

"What, stop looking like some villain. I'm warning you, don't try anything funny, there are so many people around, If you dare raise your hand they won't let you go."

"Me, raise a hand, at you?" Ali asked again as he pointed at his face.

"Why're you asking stupid questions again and again." The girl said angrily and continued " I'm telling you, if you're trying to change the topic and find a chance to run away, it's impossible." "I won't let you go. I'll_ I'll just block your car myself." The girl said and stood in front of his car's front door without asking. "Now don't be a miser and just pay up."

"Do you know I was already late for my work, and now because of you I'm sure to hear a lecture. So stop wasting my time and pay up."

"Why_"

"What do you mean why? You hit my scooter and broke the mirror. Not to mention the scratch all over the side..."

Ali, who wanted to say why was she creating this much drama for some cheap change that he'll pay easily if she just stood silent and stopped ranting for a second, was interrupted again and could only listen.

Knowing she'll keep her speech going on and on, Ali just grabbed her shoulders and pushed her aside.

"Y_ you. What're you doing? I'm telling you, don't…"

"Why're you shouting so much? It's just money." Ali said as he picked his phone from the car and turned towards her. "Tell me your number, I'll transfer it."

"I'm not telling you my number. I know rich kids like you, you're just.."

'Sigh, whose face did I see this morning to be this unlucky. First Shashi and now this..' Ali said and sighed audibly, cursing his luck while thinking 'Why am I bumping into weirdos all day today?'

"You_ don't sigh and act like a victim. I'm the victim, okay?"

'Ohh for the love of God, here we go again.' Ali cursed his luck again as he heard another rant incoming.

'Wait_ why did I forget that?' Ali said and slapped his head. 'System, give me some cash please.'

'Around 10000 should shut her up.' Ali said and watched as his points decreased by 10.

Seeing this finally a smile came to his face, as he put his hand into his suit's pocket and brought the cash out. "Here, take it."

The girl took the money from his hand and gave him a sneering look, that probably meant. 'I knew you had it on you, just didn't want to hand it over.'

Ali's lips twitched seeing her proud look, but knowing better than arguing with a dumb girl, he just planned to leave. "That's 10K, that should be more than enough." Ali said as he watched her counting notes with her fingers, while he started his car.

"Wait, how much did you say?"

"10k, don't tell me you want more?" Ali said and sighed again thinking if he should just break her whole damn scooter and give her a million or something. That should shut her up for good.

But the girl shook her head wildly and stopped his thoughts, "No, no it's more than enough. That repair just cost around 3500, you can have the rest of it back."

Ali looked at the girl weirdly as she took her part of the money and tried to return the rest back to him.

"Don't look at me like that. I'm not some cheater. I only took what it would cost me, I don't need your extra money." The girl righteously said and moved her hand towards him.

Looking at her hand for some time, Ali just smiled and drove away. "Keep it, and treat yourself too, once you're done treating your precious scooter.."

"Wait.. what did you mean, treat me, I'm perfectly fine?" The girl shouted angrily as she looked at the speeding car moving away and sighed. "Stupid rich guy" The girl said and lifted her purse from the ground to put his money away.

But as her hands folded she noticed a bleeding cut near her elbow and breathed a sigh of cold air as she touched it. 'When did I get this?' she thought and rubbed her hand.

Ali looked at her actions in the rear mirror and smiled. 'Idiot.'
