'Someone close to him has gone missing?'

This was great news. They could potentially ask for a better reward because of it. Lucian didn't show it, but he was extremely happy by such news.

"Who has gone missing? Can you tell us?" Ariel asked.

It seemed she had become the spokesperson of the group. Lucian was clearly unimportant to the current conversation. After all, Ariel and Thorin knew about one another. So, it made sense.

"The person who has gone missing…Well, it is sort of complicated to tell you. Whatever, let's stop talking about that. Let's talk about the quest. That's why you are here."

Lucian nodded. He didn't really care about the identity of the missing person since he wouldn't know about him either way. Lucian only wanted to complete this quest before doing anything else. He wanted Elvin to train with one of those smiths from earlier and with the king right here… It would make things a lot easier to acheive such a result.
