Vulcan Incarnate

The Blue Fibered System Based Weapon, earlier unleashing the red fire, started producing smoke of relief from its nuzzle, meanwhile with every passing second, the sad misery behind the cause of the smoke neared Evelyn and Max under his widened eyes of witness that both screamed "I can't believe this!"

He was somewhat in a daze;

It truly was not believable;

'Why must I taste another futile death experience again? Is this how Evelyn dies? Is this how she would also finally die and join her family...'

'No! not today...'

'Fucking no!'

"My angel! I can't let ya die this easily!" Max roared before:

BBBOOOOMMBBbbb!!!

The black car exploded.

Circles of red light and rings of serial ripples began establishing wildfire that killed forest animals and ablazed healthy trees, followed by heavier sounds of the bomb's echoes which consumed heavy sounds of the heavy rain.

And the Vampire woman smirked in seeing all of that before murmuring to herself:

"I can seeh our weapons and technologies as one of the reasons why weh Vampires must soon rule over every realm. Bring power back to where it belonged, master Lucahs."

Boredom was written all over her beautiful face after saying that, waiting to see if whether Lucas, her master and as well a creator, was right about Evelyn being a Gifted or not.

She needed not to squint her eyes to be able to see what was happening inside the red fire — They were supernatural, after all.

Back there, engrossed inside a few reminiscents of the burning car, Max could be witnessed encircling Evelyn like the wings of a mother dragon, like how a mother would do to protect her little infant, like how he promised himself to do even from that night.

Serially rising up in the front of his closed eyes were:

[Congratulations!]

[You are the first Vampire to ever transfer a Vampire Melanin to a human and a toy]

[You can share the knowledge of how you transferred the Vampire Melanin with the Vampire Hive Mind to gain 1000 VC!]

[Total VC is now 25]

[Congratulations once again!]

[Evelyn James and the panda toy respectively but permanently bear 80/100 and 20/100 of the transferred Vampire Melanin]

[Your Vampire Melanin Enhancement Ability: 0/100]

Max dismissed all the notifications involuntarily. He didn't care in the least about being the first to transfer a Vampire Melanin to a human or a toy.

Being inside the red fire, even though he was a Vampire, to heal like all normal Vampires was a different case for him. He was not earlier called a slave by Lucas for nothing.

He didn't see all of this coming, he didn't see it at all from the beginning. If there were women sent after him to the amusement park by Lucas, then why couldn't he smell their Vampire scent in order to take necessary precautions of being around Vampires? This fact alone could make him conclude that they were also Vampire Slaves like him who naturally had no scent.

Here inside his mingy hug, Evelyn expected to burn in the fire but when her expectation was proven feasible, as she opened her eyes, she realized that she and her panda were covered in thickly black, scaly skin material having golden-red lines.

Indeed, the essence known as Melanin repelled the crazily wild red flame from touching her body, talk more of combusting her. She next pulled herself out of Max's tight embrace.

Max attempted to move, but his legs were both ruined. Earlier, the Melanin in those areas were quick to go away from him and cover Evelyn exactly as he needed them to do.

As he slowly faced Evelyn, who was not burning, a look of victory radiated from his determined eyes. "Get out of here, my angel, ya need to stay away from the fire! Don't worry, I'll be fine." he told the girl in delicate whispers, delight of saving her squeezed into those words, the flesh around his face shedding as they roasted.

«I hate to see fellow Vampires suffering, but not this you. Burn more as a punishment.» Lucas said before cutting the mind-link ability to speak to Max as his slave.

"Big bro, at least get out of the fire first!!" Evelyn shouted as she searched around her only to see the beheaded corpse of her kidnapper burning into dust.

"Anyone!... Please!" She sobbed, "Please help us!" she yelled amidst she hastily stood up, attempting to lift the heavy boy out of the fire, but it was to no avail.

"ANYBODY HELP!"

"HELP US PLEASE!!"

She cried for help with her small voice but nothing changed. Max was plainly too heavy for a five year old human girl like her, and the Melanin covering her seemed to be of no use because it didn't increase her strength as required. She cried more but there was no one there to attend her cries.

Resolved to give up, Evelyn crawled away from the intense flame and heat. She was beginning to feel its impact even with the Vampire Melanin, for the fire was increasing instead of decreasing irrespective of the falling rain. She bursted into tears and scream that made Max to smile:

'Stop crying, my angel, I am enjoying the fire, y'know...'

It was way better like this. He was not a fool to transfer the only thing capable of saving him from dying but being a Vampire Slave who could not die by simple burning, he did what he did. Even if he was to stay in the fire for the upcoming thousand years, he'll still remain alive.

'And I admire death for that reason...'

'...being a Vampire Slave is something else...'

The woman sitting from the distance frowned upon seeing all of that. "What an unbelievable little girl, Lucahs was right." She then stood up and said as she walked to where Evelyn was:

"Then weh will all be happy to have her with us, to become his slave, his and his only, here on our side for the sake of Vampires." She then grinned because of what she was seeing:

In dramatic fashion, luxurious black cars drove around and parked circularly round the red flame.

Leaning her head to look around her, Evelyn noticed that out of each of these cars, women dressed half naked in red and black walked out. They all looked like that woman who found her lost at the park, a fact that infuriated the small girl.

"Why..." Evelyn looked at the burning Max there inside the red flame and asked them stammeringly: "Why... why... WHY DID YOU BURN HIM!?"

In trying to respond to the "why?" question, one of the five women tried speaking but it seemed too late for her to say a word — Ever again. In fact none of them could answer Evelyn because all Hell broke loose.

The small human girl's Gift was in use so that death would become a better situation than theirs. Forever.

Every red flame from all sides increased in intensity by Evelyn's sudden change in vibe, her Gift being related to commanding all non living things into doing her bidding. Likewise, the ground started quaking slowly then violently, making the luxurious cars to shake and the women to lose their footings.

Standing on her feet, her eyes transformed into deep black holes, her body still covered in Melanin, the falling rain plus the shaking ground and the air surrounding her repelling from nearing her body.

Her surroundings had turned into a vacuum but still, she was alive without the need to breathe. The women were flabbergasted that they found it hard to believe their eyes talk less of saying anything. However, their bodies had the Vampire Melanin slowly covering it into darkness of menace that made Evelyn to shake her head for amusement.

"Who wants to say final goodbye?" Evelyn rose her hand into the sky. Waving it about, "I hereby command you three to kill them all into molds!" she then closed her little fist, her single but several voice obediently projected into high pitch by the air itself. The female Vampires moved about with incredible speed into bringing her into the middle, red fire dancing behind them.

The rain falling from above increased speed as they turned into icy spikes. Not only that but also, every nearby falling water changed their falling direction towards the women, obeying Evelyn's command.

The speed of the ice attacks was just too fast for any sort of reaction: Raining down on them without touching Max in the slightest, breaking into pieces by hitting the transformed skin.

"This is a chance to attack her all at once, NOW!" One of them yelled. From all sides, despite the number of ice spikes striking them, they blurred to attack Evelyn — not in the presence of the red fire which forwardly spread across the ground and circled Evelyn as a means of protection, as if she was the incarnate of vulcan.

And then:

BBAAAMMBB!

It exploded lively, sending them flying away.

The explosive flame didn't just leave them be afterwards, covering them from head to toe as larger spikes of hard ice struck them from up and sides, weakening their Melanin protection.

With the red flames still engulfing them, they attacked her again and again with their red glowing eyes inside the flames, only for the same kind of explosion to throw them away and again, like ants, weakening their Melanin more and more. . .
