Yu Yusheng's arrival

Yu Yusheng crossed his arms over his chest, cocking an eyebrow while he impatiently tapped his foot on the floor. His reddish gaze searched the Grandmaster's icy blue eyes for a plausible explanation but Han Xuelian only stared back with indifference.

"Han Xuelian," Yu Yusheng said again. "You've been taking your tasks far too lightly." His tone deepened, expression darkening in displeasure at the Grandmaster's lack of accomplishments. "You haven't reported to me since you returned to Xue Ling Ridge, nor would you adhere to the summons of the Supreme Courts."

Han Xuelian flipped the sheets off himself, sauntering towards the armchair to retrieve his black and blue robe. He detected an oddity within himself, realising that his body was rejuvenated and the weariness of recent days had dissipated.

He also discovered that his Qi flow was far more potent than before, as if his energy had received an amplification boost which spurred on his Ice Essence.
