Chapter 34 Mysterious spaceships

The previous day, after Aurora left the gym, she entered her car, and then her car flew at sonic speed, leaving only dust behind.

After about ten minutes, Aurora's car stopped, and it safely landed on the ground. After she got out of the car, she realized that she was now inside an abandoned sewer, but she didn't feel any discomfort or disgust as she went inside, as if she was extremely familiar with this place.

After a few minutes of walking, she encountered two paths in the tunnel. Instead of entering any of them, she touched a rock on the wall, and then a virtual screen appeared in front of her. From that screen, a laser light scanned her eye; then she clicked on the screen, and her fingerprint got scanned. After that, on the left side of the tunnel, another hidden passage opened up.

Aurora then entered that passage, and the door closed behind her, making it look like there wasn't a door in the first place. As the door closed, the virtual screen also disappeared, making it look like a normal sewer once again.

As Aurora entered the passage, the whole environment around her changed. It was like a complete futuristic lab room. Inside the lab, two females and three males wearing the same military uniform as Aurora, sat comfortably on their respective chairs around the large round table.

On the front, there was a chair bigger than the others, and on it sat a beautiful woman with long black hair, a perfectly round face, and big breasts. Medals were all over her black military uniform, and on the right side, her name was written, 'Major Elara.'

So now, including Aurora, there are a total of seven people in the room.

Major Elara looked in Aurora's direction with a smile and said, "Aurora, come and join us."

Aurora just nodded and took an empty seat close to her.

"Ahem, now that Captain Aurora is here, I will begin why I've called all of you captains here!" Elara said, and everyone just nodded their heads.

Elara then tapped on a button in front of her, and a virtual screen appeared in front of everyone. Inside the screen, various images of destroyed metal junks were shown.

"The image in front of you all is a bit special. We believe that they are all some alien spaceship that entered the earth without getting detected by the radar a month ago. They looked just as advanced as the spaceship used by Vorax, but they are also extremely small compared to them." Elara disclosed the information with a calm face.

Everyone present was shocked; they couldn't believe that all these spaceships had entered the earth without getting detected by the radar. The radar can even detect Vorax spaceships, so how can they not detect these spaceships?

"Did the Vorax create new technology that can help them bypass our defense? If so, that's going to be a problem." A large black man with short curly hair named Darnell spoke in tension.

"We are already on the losing side, and now if the Vorax has found a way for them to get through our defense mechanism, we are practically doomed." Another white man named Jameson shouted in frustration.

Everyone thought the same, and the room got more tense with each passing moment.

"Bamm!!!" Aurora suddenly slammed the table and shouted, "Everyone shut up and let Major Elara finish her words first."

Hearing her shout, everyone shut up, as not only is her background strong, but she is also the strongest among all the captains present. So everyone fears her; not even some majors like to go on her bad side.

"Sigh, so as I was saying, the spaceship was just as advanced as the spaceship used by Vorax. Unfortunately, we were unable to get anything useful from them, as they somehow self-destructed. We have found up to 16 such spaceships, each in a different part of the world.

"But that's not all; a reporter was fortunate enough to take a picture. Here it is!" Elara said, and suddenly another picture appeared in front of everyone. In that picture, a beautiful woman can be seen coming out of that spaceship. She looks just like any human, and no one can tell if she is an alien.

"Does that mean these spaceships didn't come from different planets, but were created by some humans?" A thin Asian man named Hiroshi said with suspicion, and others just nodded, as they also thought of the same possibility.

"That can be a possibility, but we can't be too sure, as neither the military nor any original families knew about these spaceships. So whether they're inventions of some secret organization that we have no clue about or they are some Alien spaceship that is used by some alien race that looks just like us. It's your mission to find out." Elara said with a cold look.

"Major, then what happened to that girl in this picture?" Aurora asked curiously, and others just nodded as they wanted to know about it as well.

"Humm, just after we got these pictures, we went to search for that woman, for interrogation, and we also successfully managed to capture her." As Elara said this everyone's mood lightened.

But that didn't last long as Elara added, "But what we didn't know is that she had a self-destruction device with her, and just before we could get a single piece of information out of her, she self-destructed."

"Not even a single cell of her was left behind after that destruction, and not only her but a few of our soldiers died as well on the spot. This also confirmed our suspicion that these spaceships are used by Aliens." Elara said with a disappointed look on her face.

"So I will need all of you to search for others like her, to find the clue of what they are. If they are an alien race, who means no harm, then we can build a friendly relationship with them."

"If they are not, then we are going to face more problems ahead of us, as one alien race is already hard to deal with; we can't make another enemy," Elara said with a not-too-happy tone. Others also nodded, as they didn't want another enemy, or humanity might go extinct this time.

"And what if they aren't an alien race, and just some secret organization, that we have no clue about?" A beautiful female with long green hair and pink eyes, named Erza asked.

This time everyone looked at Elara expecting an answer. Elara just sighed and replied, "Well, in that case, we are going to get another enemy, and no negotiation would be possible. If it's a secret organization and has such advanced technology in its hands and still decided not to help humanity in this war, then they can only be evil, and most likely have some bad intentions."

Hearing her explanation, everyone just nodded.

Even though Elara said that they might have bad intentions and could be harmful to humanity, in truth, the military just feared that someone more powerful than them would come, and the power balance they created would be destroyed.

So to stop it from happening, that secret organization can have only one ending, and that is destruction, no matter whether their intentions are good or bad it doesn't matter to them, if they really exist that is.
