Chapter 101 Asylum

The 50 newly acquired outer disciples of the sect arrived safely, their journey culminating in a smooth landing on the sacred grounds. 

Welcomed by the elders, they were promptly ushered into the fold of the sect, where they were initiated into the sacred traditions and taught the rules governing their new community. 

Within the span of their first week of residence, they immersed themselves in the routines of cultivation and spiritual growth, each one eagerly embracing the path laid out before them.

Among the throng of diligent disciples, however, one figure stood apart, her experience unfolding along a distinctly divergent trajectory.

"Argg…" Astrid's voice echoed softly in the confines of her chamber, a plaintive sound that betrayed the torment gnawing at her soul. 

With a frustrated sigh, she cast aside the modesty of her robes and surrendered to the solitude of her bed, her body writhing in discomfort.
