A Party Filled with Conspiracy

Marin came to the party feeling excited and hoping to capture the hearts of everyone who saw her, especially William. She had dressed up very beautifully to attract his attention.

When Marin finally found William among the guests, she immediately approached him and touched his arm. Hoping William would compliment her.

However, what she got was not what she imagined. Right next to William, there was Amanda who had also come to the party.

"Why... Is she here?" Marin asked in surprise.

"What's stopping me from bringing her?" asks William.

"Oh Marin, do you know Amanda? She's William's plus one. Of course she's here," replies a female agent.

It's obvious from Marin's facial expression that she's very disappointed to see Amanda there. She had hoped to enjoy the party alone with William, but her hopes were shattered.

"Marin and I have already met once when I visited the headquarters a few days ago. Isn't that right, Marin?"
