Mack didn't know how to bring himself to tell his mother about her rejection. He would give her a few days to cool off. The Anna he knows is obsessed with him, she'll never leave him for anyone. Besides she was a spoilt brat who couldn't live without money.

It'll be a couple of days before she comes crying for her grandfather to accept her again.

"Anna had caught me cheating with her worst enemy Nari and even at that you forced me to tell her father she had been the one cheating. How do you think she'd accept me now?" Mack asked.

"Come on, you know we didn't mean anything we did there. They were just all an act to force her parents to get you two married quickly."

"And did that work?'

"It was already working if that stubborn girl hadn't backed down last minute." Mrs Yong stated.

"Mack you're a handsome man, and Anna loved you so much. No woman would want to throw away her seven years relationship when she knows you're the only man that can marry her in the entire city. Yes she's hurt but that doesn't mean a little assurance wouldn't bring her back." Mrs Yong stated.

"Nari's pregnant." Mack stated and his mother sighed, silence visiting them for a few seconds before she said,

"That I'm aware. I can take care of Nari and my grandchild. I've already explained everything to her and she understands. You should work on convincing Anna that you still love her." Mack couldn't tell if his mother saw Anna's eyes today's when she broke her engagement to him in front of everyone.

She was cold. Even when he called to threaten her, she was still so cold and distant. He hasn't seen her in such state. The Anna he knows would forgive him no matter what, but this time she was different.

He shivered at the thought of her. He would give her days to cool off as promised and when he's done, he'll try to win her over again.

"You have to marry her Mack."

Anna woke up the next morning so early as she hurried down the stairs to prepare something nice for her new husband. She was as happy as a new bride and has decided to start her life afresh again.

Even if she had spent seven years with Mack, she was still too young to be broken forever. Her revenge starts today and in other to get what she wanted from the cold man she's married she had to be the best and sweetest wife.

Maybe if her grandfather didn't lock her accounts, her marraige title would have been the only thing she'd need from Noah.

The maids and cook were shocked to see their new madam up so early and in the kitchen with the butler Lurch tailing behind her. The mansion was so big and Anna didn't want to get lost so she had to find Lurch so early.

"What is Noah's favorite food?" She asked immediately walking in so elegantly with the brightest smile on her lips.

"G... Good morning madam." The cook bowed slightly so did the maids as they greeted in unison still stunned.

"No, I don't need those formalities. Normal greetings should do, you don't need to bow."

"B... But that's how things have always been." The woman said.

"Well they have to change now. What food does your master love the most?" She asked.

"He loves eating well cooked meals of any kind but it must be well cooked." Anna narrowed her eyes at the woman. There's no way that man cannot like one food more than the rest, she'll just give him all and see which one he eats best. She thought and smiled.

Now she thought of it, she recalled him carrying her back to the room last night when he had arrived. She had thought of waiting patiently for him to return to finalize everything about their marriage, but had been too exhausted to wait for him.

"Alright, we'll prepare so many dishes this morning so everyone get to work." She clapped her hands and they all started working.

The cook Rebecca had a stern look on her face for the lady of the house. It was shocking that their master had married someone unannounced and even more shocking now that she's taking over the house like it's hers.

She shifted to a corner to stand while the other maids helped their madam cook. She would see what this woman would prepare. Their master doesn't just eat from anyone or anywhere and Anna had no idea what the man liked. She smiled.

If their master hadn't announced their madam to the world, or even his family it only means she wasn't important and shouldn't be treated like she is.

How exciting will it be to have the couples fight on the second day of their marriage? Rebecca smiled.

Anna cooked the dishes herself. Since the cook had said Noah loved his meal cooked very well, she had indeed prepared it to be so tender.

"Come here Lurch taste this." She called the advanced looking butler after carefully tasting the food herself. She didn't seem to taste a thing so she asked the man.

The maids in there stared at each other and then at the butler pitifully. It is known that ladies from wealthy families barely knew how to cook or do anything. They pitied their dear butler cause he may not be able to work for the rest of the day after tasting their madams meal.

Lurch gulped before standing next to his madam. He didn't like that he was being used as a scape goat but he smiled and maintained a calm demeanor ready to die. After all, it'll be an honour if he dies serving his boss. Rebecca smiled at the scene unfolding before her.

For years she has been the one and only cook of the mansion. She doubt anyone can pass her.

As Anna brought the spoon close to his lips, he saw his remaining life flash before his eyes and she dipped the spoon Into his mouth.
