'Nothing happened?' Domain wondered inwardly walking into the huge mall, something didn't feel right. What if Bestow's father did something to pull Sebastian out of the picture?
"Select anything to your liking," Bestow said and something crossed Domain's mind. If she had a phone with her and perhaps a laptop then hitting up news from her country would be easier.
"I would appreciate it if the only thing we purchase is a phone and maybe a PC." She said smiling nervously. Who the heck was she to ask for something so expensive? The woman was Seb's wife while she was in no way related to Sebastian.
She was just a nobody in X City like both of them were in an unknown valley.
"Let's buy something else, I'll make a special delivery of those today." She said walking straight to the grocery. "I want to prepare something special for us today." She said while selecting different types of vegetables, spices, and several more groceries.
DOMAIN'S POV
We walked to the counter and I noticed that Bestow didn't cue up like other individuals did. She simply handed in our stuff to someone and we walked straight towards the parking lot.
"Everything would be sent home as a delivery." She said holding the staring wheel and her smartphone buzzed indicating a message.
I could see her tensed body as she tried to start the vehicle.
"What happened?" I asked concerned and she faked a sweet smile.
"Uh, it's nothing to worry about." She said still struggling to start the vehicle. From the corner of my eyes, I could see that she would not ride a vehicle in such a terrible state of confusion. Even the key was held upside down.
"I can drive if you want me to." I offered and she nodded.
"Just follow the GPS and stop at the Lee Mansion," I'll direct you when we're close to the Lee residence." She said struggling to maintain her calm and acting up as if nothing happened.
"Don't you lay a single finger on him?" I heard her command and my senses hit high. That was Sebastian, he was in danger and I had to be there at all costs.
"Did anything happen to my brother?" I asked and she smirked saying no one would dare to go against her orders. How the heck was that possible? She was slapped three times right before me.
"If it's about my brother then it fully concerns me," I said exceeding the required speed limit. I didn't give a damn at all, if Sebastian dies then that means I would have to die as well. He was my goddamn responsibility currently.
"How the heck did you use five minutes to arrive at Lee Mansion?" Bestow asked taking in deep breaths of air to calm her nerves. "That was impressive." She smiled walking out of the vehicle but I knew she would rush straight to some washroom inside to throw up.
"I am terrible Bestow." I said switching places back to the back seat and walking out as the innocent sister-in-law I was assumed to be.
My eyes landed on Sebastian comfortably seated on a coach and I smirked inwardly. Bestow might have been right after all.
"What's the meaning of all this nonsense father?" Bestow asked walking straight towards Sebastian. "One percent is close to nothing!" She snapped and her father smirked.
"It has always been the rule sweetheart, no one, not even you can escape our custom. He dropped the company sales by one percent just in one night, what about the several nights to come?" He snapped and Bestow smiled.
"In that case, I am the one to take the punishment for him. He's my husband after all." Bestow said gesturing for Sebastian to stand and leave with me.
"I will take whatever punishment there is, it was my fault after all," Sebastian said and Bestow snapped her eyes becoming red instantly.
"You Can't agree to that!" She said looking at her father whose eyes were focused towards the door. "Grandpa?" I could see Bestow's lips shake at the mention of her own grandfather's name.
"Rules will remain rules, my dear," The old man said gesturing for the men in black to take Sebastian away.
"Don't you day hurt him," I ordered the veins from within me starting to pop up. I felt like the beast in me had been awakened and I wanted to shield Sebastian from all forms of danger.
"So many women shielding you son, take good care of your good looks." The old man said looking at me from head to toe. "I can spare him for you, just give me what I want in return." He said moving closer and his hands landed on my lips.
"Get your hands off my sister," Sebastian scoffed, and old Mr Lee walked steps away.
"Which means you're ready to take your punishment." He snapped his finger and Sebastian was dragged away. Damn, I just sighed in relief. No man had been inches close think about holding my lips for his age God curse that.
My eyes landed on Bestow, she was the cause of everything. I know Seb would never propose to a woman, he was only hooked up to the so-called Bestow.
At that point I felt like revealing who I am, a supper undercover agent, highly trained and vowed to protect my nation. Sebastian was the nation I was to protect currently.
With him, there's a future and peace but without him, there would be war and death. Everyone would want to feel the presidential vacuum left behind from Seb's absence and it hurts because one of the bloody candidates would be my brother.
To shield my brother from any bloody scenes I had to ensure Sebastian was alive at all costs and that only he would be sworn in as the next president.
My red killer bloody eyes were glued on the old man until I felt something soft land on my skin. "He will survive that with plenty of scars," Bestow said pulling me into a hug and I tightly squeezed back to throw out all the anger within me.
'Nothing will happen to Sebastian.' I promised myself inwardly as my eyes followed a trace of him.
