Mister Cui recalls when he was young, his daughter brought her little grandson to visit him in Qinghe. He enjoyed their company dearly. They would lie in his bed listening to him reading history.
Now those two children have grown up, one of them is even getting married, and he has grown old as well.
The relocation from Qinghe in Daliang to Nanchu seems like a dream.
Apparently, Zhou Gu was tired and fell asleep first.
Not much later, Cui Xingzhi also fell asleep.
Ironically, Mr Cui remained awake. He turned his head to look at his cousins and wondered how long it had been since they had a good rest. Clearly, he was the one who had been exhausted from the long journey, but they seemed even more tired.
On this day off, both of them refused to go back to work and chose instead to sleep with him.
Mister Cui sighed, thinking happily about the few members of the Cui family who had arrived. Their presence, though small in number, provided some help.
