Rok Fight! Pt.2

30 Dragon Assault Ships flew through the area between them and the Rok until they reached whatever the Orks called a docking station/hangar. Many of the Orks in that area saw the ships approaching and began to cheer, shooting at them, only for their shoots to bounce off of the barrier surrounding the Rok. But that did not deter them as they continued to fire. A few rockets were shot and could make it through but they were easily shot down by the turrets on the Dragons.

Ork technology was weird. It would prevent smaller things from exiting like air and bullets but allowed for artillery shells and missiles to pass through since 'they make a big BOOM!' as the Orks would say.

"Fucking, Orks," Dogan complained in the lead Dragon Assault Ship. "Fire the missiles!"

All the ships opened the hidden weapon bays all over their bodies before unleashing countless anti-air, anti-ground, and incendiary missiles that tore apart the hangar.

With the hangar cleared, the first DAS flew into what used to be the hangar and deployed Dogan along with 50 Terminators. They were the first line and to act as the spearhead to hold the position.

The area was dark, most of the lights having been destroyed by the salvo of missiles or not even being there in the first place. Either way, it made the situation unnerving as there were over 30 tunnels that led to the area, each was a different size that could let in so many different Orks.

As soon as they got off, the DAS flew off to go pick up the next group of troops from the main ship while another deployed the next wave of Astartes. Dogan needed to ensure that they held the position so he planned to deploy the Astartes first, then the Imperial soldiers, and finally let the Knights come in last.

As the 3rd ship dropped off their troops, that was when the Orks started to arrive. It was only a few at first that opened fire from several different openings but thanks to the cover that the Astartes created out of destroyed Ork vehicles, they were able to take them all out without losing a single one of their members.

It was not like the Orks were acting in a coordinated assault either which made it much easier. It was simply that whenever an Ork showed up, it would immediately rush out of a tunnel and open fire, only to be met with several bolter rounds to its face.

This pattern of assaults continued on until the 13th deployment from the fleet. That was when more and more Orks started coming out at once. Although they were still not organized, their numbers were far higher, with each tunnel pouring at 10-15 Orks at once.

"Imperial Soldiers! Open fire down the tunnels. I want constant fire. Don't let them push through!" Dogan ordered, the room suddenly lit up by countless red lasers flying toward the tunnels. The Imperial Soldiers knew to spread out their lines of fire, making sure not to leave one tunnel too abandoned.

"Terminators! Get the heavy weapons ready," Dogan knew that this tactic wouldn't last. The Orks would either use the dead bodies as shields to slowly push through or get their Mekboyz out with their personal shields. Either way, the Terminators were the answer.

Terminators wore the toughest and most advanced armor that also allowed them to wield the heaviest of weapons, making them basically tanks on two feet. A squad of Terminators could match the firepower of an Imperial Knight, only being beaten in speed.

Each of the Terminators that Dogan had brought aboard were armed with an Autocannon in one hand and a heavy flamer in the other.

"Rawr!" the Grey Knight force heard a roar of something, rushing down one of the tunnels.

"Squad of Terminators down that tunnel!" Dogan commanded. The Terminators replied by having 10 of their members fire their autocannon down the tunnel, letting whatever was thinking about rushing through re... well Orks don't regret anything so never mind.

The battle continued this way for a period, none of the Astartes or Imperial Soldiers seeing a single Ork body. And just as they were thinking that everything would go well, there was a massive explosion, knocking many of the Imperial Soldiers off their feet and leaving a ringing in their ears.

Smoke filled the room and it was suddenly flooded with light coming from the opposite direction. As the guards began to stand up, their shaky vision looked at what used to be the tunnels and saw a massive hole, where countless Orks were flooding out of it.

The Orks fired their shootas into the room, killing many Imperial Guards that were still recovering, sending fear into the men and women looking who saw their comrades slaughtered. A few Astartes were also taken out in the assault, but the ratio compared to their initial numbers was nowhere close.

The Astartes were able to resist falling from the explosion and ably to open fire as soon as they saw the Orks but the Orks were quickly making ground.

"Rise!" Dogan casted a spell on the Imperial Soldiers, forcing them to focus past the pain and stand up. He needed the additional firepower from them in order for their position to not be overrun. This helped speed up their recovery but many of the men and women still needed to find their guns that had fallen during the blast.

"We need the next Dragon to open fire with its autocannons for 10 seconds. Support fire requested," one of the Terminator sergeants requested. They needed the extra firepower while the Imperial Soldiers were still getting up.

Dogan unleashed a wave of fire, killing over 200 Orks at once in the middle of the enemy formation, and creating a gap while the Terminators activated their heavy flamers and burned anyone who got too close to the frontline after that.

The next Dragon that dropped off another shipment of Imperial Soldiers unleashed hell from its autocannons, aiming at any location that the gunner thought was looking a little too thick.

The battle was quickly heating up as both sides were giving hell to the other, one side trying to take any inch they could get while the other was holding each one they could but the Grey Knight force was spread thin.

They made sure to move in far enough to the point that the rest of their men could deploy without issue but this left a large amount of space behind them open where many soldiers automatically fled to when they panicked, only to make it easier for the Orks to pick them off.

Even as more and more Imperial Soldiers were deployed, the battle did not get any easier. The Orks were not giving in. And just as the 31st ship deployed their men, everyone heard a voice coming from the hole.

"Me heards derz a fight. Clombering timez!" it said with a primal power in it. The Orks let out a warcry in agreement and began fighting with even more intensity.

Dogan let out spell after spell while also firing his plasma pistol. Even as he was killing, his eyes were focused on the hole where an incredibly large Ork the size of his Primarch emerged. It was wearing a metal suit that looked like it would fall apart any moment and it was painted black with two white Power Klaws. The only skin that was revealed was its head which had an cybernetic eye replacing the left one.

"Fuck me! Why couldn't it have been a smaller one," Dogan put his plasma pistol back in its holster before taking his Force Halberd off his back. "Tell Daniel we got the Warboss. He can start his part in the operation. And tell him to hurry up."

Wings made of flames resembling those of a dragon appeared behind Dogan before he leaped over the barricade they had created and flew straight toward the Warboss, burning any Ork that got too close.

The Warboss looked excited and rushed to meet Dogan, crushing and knocking aside any Ork that got in his way. And with that, the battle between the two leaders had soon begun.
