William Cole didn't waste any more words; he was eager to see the stubborn old man preparing medicine at Thirteen Hall.
After entering Minnie Wright's room, William Cole felt the temperature drop a few more degrees.
Minnie Wright was lying on the bed, her eyes tightly closed. She appeared as if she was asleep, with no visible signs of abnormality.
"Is the air conditioning on in the room?" William Cole asked.
Fury Wright shook his head, "No, it isn't."
"The temperature feels a bit off." William Cole seemed puzzled.
George White seized the opportunity to mock, "Can you treat her or not? If you can't, go kneel outside the First Hospital of Midocen."
"What's your excuse about the temperature? Do you mean to say that temperature can cause Miss Minnie Wright's persistent unconsciousness?"
William Cole glanced lightly at George White, "No one would think you're mute if you don't speak."
"You--"
George White was about to retort.
