Chapter 29: Introductions And Conflict.

Trini and Nina came with 18 people, in which 9 are the team members of Trini and 9 are some of the talents that they picked up during the return journey. Trini only converted for whom she felt some kind of connection as her team member, even if they are not that talented. Rest of the members are those who had talents and some good qualities. But they had some fault that Trini could not pinpoint what was wrong.

Trini started to introduce the people she brought with her to the family.

Trini pointed to a petite girl with black curly hair and heterochromia eyes. "This is the first member and [Striker] I converted as the team member. Her name is Larsa. She is a demi-god. I think she is the daughter of Anu. I initially took her in out of pity and also for revenge. But after spending time with her, I have grown fond of her. She is quite shy around new people. So Pyran, keep your teasing to a minimum." They all understood that Trini has already informed Larsa about her intensions. Pyran was speechless regarding her statement about him and was surprised by Trini's outgoing attitude. But most of all, he was happy about her growth. Larsa introduced herself shyly and hid behind Nina.

Then Trini continued, "This is Leonara Williams, my first [Supporter]. I found her in Luxemburg, on the way to London. She was a battlefield nurse. I saved her form soldiers who were trying to rape her. She's got a good head above her shoulder. I liked her and she is like one of Mom's commanders." Leonara introduced herself with great self-confidence. She is a tall girl with blond hair and blueish green eyes.

"This is Elizebeth Trevor. She is my second [Supporter]. She was just 12 when I found her. But her interest in business caught my eyes after a year of spending time together. She is a monster when it came to money making. She was being treated unfairly in the orphanage in London. So, I took her in after she passed out form hunger in an alley near the church." Pointing to a teenage girl with Dirty blonde hair and light blue eyes. She came before them and bowed lightly and swiftly ran behind Trini. "She is also a shy one." Trini added and eyed Pyran. Pyran was speechless again.

"This little girl here is Zoya Ibrahim, my First [Defender]. She is a poor village girl with a big heart. She was an orphan in a small village in Afghanistan. When I found her, she was feeding a group of children in their village even when she didn't have any food for herself at the end. I took a liking to her. She is a cheerful little girl with full of life." A small girl with black hair and blue eyes came forward and greeted everyone energetically. This brought a smile to everyone present. And the next second Zoya was in the embrace of Shina, who was smothering her with a tight hug saying, "SO CUTE~!!"

"This is Sanachithra Kumari. Sana for short. She was a princess in the Southern India. I made her my second [Stricker]. She wanted to be a warrior princess but her circumstances did not allow it. She was in the middle of committing suicide when I saved her. She and Nina are best of friends." A teenage girl with black hair and black eyes came forward and bowed elegantly. Pyran looked weirdly at Nina and asked, "How did you make such an elegant girl as you friend. I really can't picture it."

This ticked off Nina, who immediately started throwing fists at Pyran who kept dogging. All looked at this and was laughing lightly.

After few minutes of laughing, Trini continued, "This young man here is Caleb Brown. I saved him 2 years ago from a mining accident. He is a hardworking sunny boy. He is my second [Defender]. He is good with martial arts." A boy with light brown hair and honey brown eyes came straight to Gilbur and asked enthusiastically, "Are you the great demon trainer Gilbur, that Sis told us about. Can you train me? Can you make me strong?" He shot questions at Gilbur like a machine gun. 

Trini was speechless and Gilbur's face went dark. Everyone else just laughed at this, Pyran added oil to the fire, "Yes Kiddo! This guy here is the sadistic demon trainer of legends. He will train you to the brink of death and call it a light exercise." Everybody else just shuddered except Pyran, Shina, Nina, Trini and Caleb. Pyran, Shina and Nina, just laughed in amusement. Trini was holding her forehead with a wry smile. Caleb was smiling happily with stars in his eyes. 

Trini quickly change the topic, "This gentle giant here is Diego Reyes. He was a guard in one of the Mexican town. The town was raided by a Cartels. We arrived on time to see him saving kids from being smuggled out and got surrounded. He was getting beaten but he did not let a single blow land on the kids behind him. We jumped in to help before he got himself killed. After traveling with him, we got to know that he was just a pure soul in the body of a monster. He is my Third [Defender]." A big man with well-built physique came in front and tipped his hat in a cowboy style. He was really big. Both Trini and Nina will be able to hide behind him and have enough space for Zoya.

Trini then pointed to a woman with exotic features. She had honey brown skin, well built body, black hair with silverish blue eyes. "She is Afia. She is born between a forest sprit and a human. She was being hunted by some devils when I saved her. She escaped from Naberious Clan lab. She is does not know much. She is just like me but less informed and highly cautious. She is my 4th [Defender]." Every one was surprised and Gilbur was gritting his teeth and trying to control his killing intent from leaking. They have destroyed few labs of Naberious clan and all know what they could expect in one of such labs. 

Trini let everyone clam down and introduced a handsome chinese man, "This one here is Sheng Fu. He is a martial artist trained by his grandfather in the woods. He is capable of using Qi. According to him this was a cultivation practice that helps him to grow into an immortal. There are 7 stages: Body Building, Foundation, Golden Core, Nascent soul, Soul Forging, Transcendence and Tribulation. According to him, he was at the Peak of Golder core. I found him using an energy somewhat similar to Origin energy. I got curious and approached him. But after few months I made him my [Stricker] as he was very generous and transparent with everyone. He respects others and shown diligence in anything does. He has one of the pure souls I have met so far. He is about 60 years old." No body showed any shock or disbelief. Then a Chinese Young man with black hair and black eyes saluted everyone with Wushu Baoquan Li to show his respect and courtesy.

Then Trini turned to the remaining 9 and introduced, "These are all the other talents that I was able to find during my travel." She introduced the other 9, just by names and specialties while pointing them, "Vincent here is a Vampire, good with magic and assassination. He joined just a week ago when we reached here.

Lincoln and Dreyer are brothers and they are supernatural hunters. They were able to find out that we are supernatural beings and helped us out. 

Shizu, Kaede and Haruka are from Ahane Shinobi clan. They are the last remnants after a recent purge. They were dying when I found them. They are good girls with excellent aptitude for support and battle.

Alexander here is a Russian werewolf. He is a kind one with good battle instincts. He was living in the woods so not to hurt others due to his out-of-control powers. 

Atlas and Elias are twin brothers who were the descendants of Castor, King of Sparta. They each have their own specialty. Atlas is good at fighting and Elias is a good strategist."

After Trini's introduction, Pyran stood up, "All of you are excellent people with good skills. Each one of you are eligible for an Origin piece in mine or Trini's team. But sadly, we are out of pieces. You can stay in the dimension. I assume Trini has already informed you guys about our pantheon. So, I will not waste your time repeating what Trini already told you guys. So, you are free to enjoy. There will be a dinner gathering and you are all invited. Let us get to know each other more."

As soon as he finished, Lincoln and Dreyer got excited, Lincoln immediately asked, "Are we allowed to roam around the city?"

Pyran shood his head and said, "Sadly no. You have just arrived and we have just updated our security systems 3 months ago. We will have to register all you guys. But it can be only done tomorrow. So, you will have to stay here till then."

Lincoln and Dreyer were somewhat disappointed. But they understood that there are some procedures that needs to be followed. So, they nodded and was ready to retire to their assigned rooms. Before they moved, refreshments arrived and they sat down with others to enjoy them.

But Trini, Nina, Gilbur and Shina got alerted. Shina and Gilbur knows that there is no such security system to speak of. Trini and Nina got alerted because they now understood that they brought someone with evil thoughts into their home.

Pyran then turned and eyed them saying, 'Everything is under control.' They all relaxed. But Trini and Nina felt guilty. And when Pyran didn't even blame them they both felt touched and more guilty. 

Pyran saw this and sighed. He just went near them and hugged them both. Then send a telepathic message, 'Don't feel guilty. You decided to turn off your powers and decided to learn more with your own eyes and feeling to judge them. So, as far I can see you both did a splendid job. You found many good people and only few bad ones. So, don't beat yourselves up.'

Trini and Nina just hugged him tighter when they felt his care towards them. Shina and Gilbur just smiled and went for a group hug. They both know the girls will feel bad and wanted to comfort them.

Shina, 'This is your first time meeting different kinds of people. So, it is normal for you to get deceived. But as far I can see you guys did great and I'm proud of you.'

Gilbur, 'Infact, if Pyran did not give us the signal, we too might have been in the dark. So, all I can say is that whomever deceived you is a good actor. And if I had to guess, Pyran was able to find him/her or them only with his [Empath] skill. So, be proud. This cheater only won because of his skill.'

This got the girls visible relaxed and their moods got better in few seconds. The others watching this only felt this was natural as they have not seen others for several years. Trini's team members understood that this is close knit family and they were happy to be a part of it. The rest felt envious of such display. 

That was when Lincoln mumbled to himself, "Lucky bastards! Getting to hug all the hotties at one fell swoop. Wait till we finish our preparations. We will make the 3 bitches our whores before selling them off."

Suddenly, then room temperature went down. Two cold killing intent got locked onto both Lincoln and Dreyer. Rest felt heavy but they were able to move. As soon as they got battle ready, they immediately noticed something odd. They were able to move but only Lincoln and Dreyer were stuck in the same place. They immediately understood that something was up and they are not targeted.

Pyran turned with a dark face, "I did not want to do this on the first day we met. I wanted to understand your circumstances and help you out."

He slowly walked slowly towards Lincoln and Dreyer while looking at Lincoln, "Did you just disrespected 3 most important women in my life, while inside my home, while eating and drinking the food and drinks I provided, without a single ounce of conscience?"

Then he dropped the Killing intent. Following him Gilbur also dropped his. Soon everyone except Lincoln and Dreyer felt they just escaped from a mouth of prehistoric beast. They immediately moved closer to Trini and Nina who looked crestfallen.

Once free of he suppression, Lincoln and Dreyer immediately got battle ready and took a device from their necklace and activated it. Then Dreyer said in an accusing and frivolous tone, "Damit Lincoln! How many times do I have to tell you to keep your mouth shut. Now it will get messy before we can secure our prey."

Lincoln just shrugged his shoulder and said in a carefree tone, "Well nothing new! We just have to do like we always do. This bitch should have killed us when he got the chance. Didn't I tell you these creatures are damn arrogant and will look down on us. Let's just kill the men and enjoy the women like we always do." Then tilted his head and looked at Dreyer with a obscene smile and asked, "Shall we?"

Dreyer gave an equally obscene smile and said "I'm damn ready! Let's go!"

[Interesting! I didn't expect this device will be in the hands humans.] Suddenly plane sounded in Pyran's head.

Pyran asked confusedly, "This device?"

[One of the devices used by the commander of the EXE battle ships. Powerful against other races but a toy against Chaos Originals.]

Pyran now understood why these clowns are so confident. Then Lincoln and Dreyer donned an armor with some devices floating around them with the principle of electro magnetic levitation. Dreyer then said, "Hey Lincoln, what if we bind the men and use the bitches in front of them while they are watching."

Pyran's gaze got cold like absolute zero and said, "If you both open your mouth one more time, It will not end well for you guys."

Lincoln and Dreyer just laughed, while Dreyer said condescendingly, "Yeah? What are going to do, loser? Ask me to Fu…."

That's all he was able to say. Before anyone could react Gilbur and Pyran moved. Dreyer's face was held by Pyran while Gilbur was doing the same to Lincoln. Pyran then pulled Dreyer near to his face and said in a low and cold tone, "I asked you not to speak another word, insect!"

Dreyer and Lincoln panicked and started to attack Pyran and Gilbur with the floating weapons. But to their utter horror, they just bounced off of them. Gilbur got annoyed and wanted to crush the device. But Pyran said, "Don't destroy them. We can research and build new one for our soldiers. This can also be used in other places. As for these two," Pyran the pressed the button on the middle of Dreyer's chest and removed the device and continued, "let's show them what a devil can do when they are utterly pissed."

Gilbur did the same and matched Pyran with a cold sadistic smile. Then he turned to Lincoln and said, "Oh you poor thing! What will happen to you both now! But don't worry we will take good care of you both." He said in a mock pity. Dreyer and Lincoln just realized they pissed of a wrong pantheon. They wanted to beg for mercy but was unable to do so. They were immediately chained by magic and got teleported to Pyrans lab. They will take their own time to torture them later.

New members on the floor got terrified and also was reassured. Terrified because of the power and cruelty Pyran and Gilbur shown. Reassured because they treated all of them present here as an equal and showed respect despite having this much power. This made them realize that this family will treat those with good intensions with respect and for those with bad intensions, a worst nightmare.

Pyran then went near Trini and Nina who looked crestfallen and hugged them again saying, "Hey you both! Don't show that face! Hey Trini, Cheer up! Like you said in the speech earlier today. You will stumble and fall. But learn to stand up and move forward. That's how you will learn, grow and understand the meaning of life. So, now you've faced a fall. Then comes standing up, learning, growth and understanding." He consoled them gently. All retired for the night as their mood got spoiled. 

The new members were taken to their assigned rooms. Pyran took Trini to console her and Shina took Nina to console. Gilbur was left alone and got more pissed at Lincoln and Dreyer as they made him sleep alone today. He then sent a telepathic message to Pyran that he was going to start the torture now. Pyran understood his predicament and laughed mockingly in telepathy. This pissed Gilbur more. With a cold sinister smile he went to the lab to 'Take care' of Lincoln and Dreyer.
