Before she could even ask a question, Mrs. Johnson stomped over to her and, pointing at her nose, snapped, "Amanda Smith, what do you think you are to dare hit my son?!"

Amanda was taken aback by her commanding tone and choked for a moment before collecting herself. Her expression became reserved as she simply stated, "I hit him, so I hit him. What do you want to do about it?"
