She could feel something leaving her body, and panic and heartache flooded her mind in an instant. She clung tightly to the arm of the man who rushed over to hold her, grabbing on as if it were a lifeline. Her voice trembled as she spoke, "Owen...the baby..."

"Don't be afraid." Owen Moreland's voice was terrifyingly calm as he picked up Amelia and quickly walked out.

Director Taylor also rushed over, encountering Owen Moreland face to face. Owen didn't stop, simply leaving the command, "Call the police," as he hurried away with Amelia in his arms.
