Eldric's Promise

After the intense battle that left Kralar and Vargus defeated, Eldric found himself drained of nearly all his strength. He collapsed to the ground, sitting amidst the debris of the battlefield, his breaths heavy and ragged. "I wonder what happened to the others," he murmured to himself, concern lacing his exhausted voice. Eldric's mind was with his comrades, hoping against hope that they had fared better than he feared.
