(XLVI) Reunion

Samael walked through the silent streets of the destroyed city. He searched through the rubble of destroyed buildings, checking the broken signs as he moved. 

'Are you certain he's here, Master?' Khrista asked telepathically, breaking the silence and monotony as he searched. 

'Yes.' He answered, moving between the ruined buildings, checking the signs, and moving on. His mind drifted back to his past life...

"You idiot!!" Serenity shouted, grabbing Samael by the back of his collar and jerking him back as she flung him behind her. 

Camille appeared before her, raising her shield as a magical barrier appeared, blocking a powerful fireball as it exploded, turning as she shouted, "Get back!!" 

Sam turned around and scrambled away as a pair of large boots landed in front of him, halting his escape. He slowly looked up the tattered jeans and white muscle shirt at the man with a bomber coat.
