Chapter 43

Astrid Pov:

Seeing how hiccup was upset that his suit was destroyed so I decided to go to Gobber's Smithy. When I arrived, he was working on some stuff and I went up and said. "Gobber, can you help me for a minute."

"Yes lass, just let me finish this." He said and when he was done, he asked. "What do you need help with?"

"This." I say as I pull Hiccups suit out of the bag I brought it in. "I have some of the blueprints that he used and some left over scales. I was wondering if you could fix it up, if you need help with anything like the saliva or problems just tell me." I finish as I bring out the rest of the supplies.

"I will get to it in spare time, is that ok?" He asked. "Yes." I responded and left to continue helping on building the village. I decided to visit the school that was still being worked on beneath the island. It was in the center of the island, it is connected to the library, Holiday section, and the mead hall.

Since the school is on the island people can just walk there. Or they can stay in the dorms that we built in case they needed somewhere to sleep or chill.

When I arrive, I see that most of the dorms have been made and all of the subjects also have locations. The blacksmith area has multiple vents, so it does not get hot, as well as a river going through to cool down. Everything else is pretty much normal, they are on the cliffs, so we had to make protection to prevent falling.

I go around to the office for berk and go in. When I get in, I see Askeladd putting some books on the shelves so I say. "What are you up to." catching him off-guard.

"I am just putting the finishing touches on." He says as I calm down and say. "Thankyou." After that he leaves, and I look around the office. It is a bit large with a look out over the sea. It has two desks right next to each other for me and Hiccup. It also has storage cabinets and bookshelves for us.

I look around a bit and notice that it connects to the smithy. My guess since Magna didn't make it off school island is that Hiccup is the new smithy teacher. But that won't be easy while running the village.

I leave and decide to visit heather by the lake where she built her house. When I arrive i see that she is fishing. I cannot believe it still that there are fish up here.

"Hey heather." I call. "Hey Astrid." She says back. "What are you up to?"

"Seeing how everything is going and also doing something for Hiccup." I say and she asks me. "What is it that you are doing for him?" I tell her about hiccups old suit being destroyed and how I asked gobber to fix it up.

"I see." She says after she catches her last fish. "Want to join me for Dinner." "No I got stuff to do." I say as I start to go back home.

When I arrive, I see the square starting to take shape. In the middle we have a little guest house for visitors or people coming to sell so basically a market. To the Right out to sea we have the boat lift, and then Ruffnut's house followed by Fishlegs. On the other side we have Tuffnut's house, a path out, Snotlouts tower, And then a little house for Scribbler.

I head up to mine and Hiccups house overlooking the village. When I arrive I see Hiccup inside putting stuff in their places. I go in.

Hiccup Pov:

Astrid leaves with my suit and I think she is going to bury it. I continue to go through boxes and put them in their Rightful places and then head out to lunch. When I arrive, I see Dagur at the Table for the Chiefs.

I go up to him and say. "Hello." "Brother." He says as usual and we get to talking about the island. We decide that I will make some Flight suits for a learning path in school in case you need to escape the island. Or get down quickly.

After lunch I head home and continue sorting and I am almost done when Astrid comes in. "Hello milady." I say and she nods. "I checked out the school earlier. I am only concerned about the blacksmith area because it will be hot since you are inside stone." She says.

"Well if you saw it has an excessive amount of vents to get the heat out. If you didn't know it is also by a waterfall so cool air from the water can come in." I say and she responds. "I didn't know that part." And we continue sorting.

When we are done we go to Dinner. When we arrive we sit with the others and I say. "I got the idea from Dagur but what do you guys think if we have a Flight suit class in case we need to get off the island or something." Everyone looks surprised except Dagur.

They start to chat before they come to an Agreement and say. "YES." Mainly because the island could collapse.
