Chapter 998: Deserted Island

He didn't know how long he had slept when the sound of waves crashing onto the beach woke him.

Ye Chen was roused by a Red Demonic Spirit, indicating they had made it ashore, but where exactly? He scanned his surroundings, finding everything enshrouded in darkness save for the dim light of a half-moon.

"What place is this?" the Red Demonic Spirit asked, sounding like a young girl.

"It's obviously a deserted island," the Black Demonic Spirit observed as it looked around.

"No way, we're trapped on a deserted island? That's not what we wanted."
