Chapter 131: Alvida vs Mr. 1

Alvida and Mr 1 stared at each other. "Why are you in our way?" Mr 1 asked. He was a tanned man with long, thin limbs and fingers. He was tall and very muscular. His head was shaved and he had a unibrow. 

He wore a sleeveless dark coat with golden edges. His pants were tucked inside some bandages wrapped around his calves. 

"We are going to stop you for our crewmate and friend," Alvida replied.

Mr 1 laughed. "Allies, friends are a hindrance," Mr 1 said. 

"Someone had a rough childhood," Alvida replied.

Mr 1 looked slightly annoyed. "Spar Claw," Mr 1 said as he turned the undersides of his fingers into blades. Mr 1 and Alvida ran to each other. Alvida swung her iron mace and clashed with Mr`s sharp blade like fingers. Mr 1 backed off, he attempted to strike Alvida's stomach however Alvida jumped back. 

Alvida then ran up and swung her iron mace at Mr 1 face. "Spider," he said as he hardened his body. His arm looked like a blade and it clashed with Alvida`s iron mace. Alvida put more force down as Mr 1 did the same. Eventually Alvida backed off and jumped away.

"You are strong," Alvida commented. 

"Friends hold you down," Mr 1 said as he ran up to Alvida again.He turned his hand into blades and swung his crossed arms in front of him. "Spar Break," he said. 

"Kanabo Swing," Alvida said. The two attacks clashed. Alvida and Mr 1 slid back. Mr 1 and Alvida were panting. 

"Slip on slide," Alvida said as she slid on the ground towards Mr 1. She increased her speed. Alvida gripped her iron mace tightly. She readied her iron mace. "Kanabo Swing," Alvida said. 

Mr 1 turned the insides of his hands and fingers into blades and he sprouted blades on the bottom of each of his feet, like ice skates. Mr 1 dashed towards Alvida. Mr 1 gained speed. He readied his iron fingers blades. "Atomic Spurt," Mr 1 said. They clashed and swapped places.

 Alvida hit Mr 1 chest with her iron mace. He felt his bone rattle. The force of the hit was great. Mr 1 hit Alvida's stomach with his sharp blades. Alvida smiled and turned around. Mr 1 turned around. They both faced each other.

Mr 1 saw there was no damage on her stomach. It was pristine. Mr 1 eyes narrowed. He ran up to Alvida. "Spar Claws," Mr 1 said. Alvida ran up to Mr 1 as well. "Kanabo Swing," she said.

Alvida hit Mr 1 on the face. His head moved backwards slightly due to the impact. Blood could be seen leaking from his head from the attack. Mr 1 striked her stomach again. Again he saw there was no damage to her body. 

"An annoying devil fruit," Mr 1 remarked. 

Alvida smiled. Mr 1 touched his head. He could feel his blood leaking. He looked at his hand and saw red drops on his fingers. Mr 1 looked at Alvida iron mace and noticed a tiny crack had formed. 

"Spar Break," Mr 1 said as crosses his bladed arms in front of him and ran towards Alvida. Alvida also ran towards Mr 1 and they clashed again. The force blew the sand around them. Alvida and Mr 1 slid back again. 

Mr 1 did not want to let up, he ran up towards Alvida, "Spiral Hollow," Mr 1 said. Mr 1 created circular blades along his forearms and made them spin. Alvida ran up as well and swung her iron mace. Mr 1 aimed for her iron mace and punched it with all his force. They both clashed. Mr was pushing back the iron mace. Alvida put her strength into and tried to push back. They both were locked in a struggle. The tide of the battle was moving back and forth. 

The crack was increasing. The pressure on the iron mace was increasing. The crack got bigger. Mr 1 noticed this and put more strength into his punch. The spinning blades were putting intense pressure. Alvida had to counter with more force. 

 The spinning blades kept grinding until the iron mace shattered. Alvida noticed this at the very second and ducked down as she narrowly avoided the spinning blades in his hands.Alvida then jumped back. 

She held the handle bar of her iron mace. She saw the pieces scattered. It was broken. She had it for a long time. It was her weapon. She was sad about the loss. She sighed. 

"You have lost your offensive weapon, that devil fruit is only good for defense," Mr 1 said. 

"My iron mace was with me, I am sad that I lost it however I will defeat you," Alvida declared.

Mr 1 smiled. Alvida smiled back. "What are you smiling about?" Mr asked.

Alvida dropped the handle of her iron mace. She spun her arm rapidly. This allowed the air to slip through her arms in a blade like projectile. She projected the air blade forward toward Mr 1. Mr 1 saw something coming. He was about to move when he got hit by the attack. "Slide Slash," Alvida said. 

Mr 1 got hit in the chest and he spat spit out from his mouth. It was a powerful attack. Mr 1 was taken by surprise by this attack. "What is this?" Mr 1 said.

"My devil fruit has many uses," Alvida said.

"Indeed," Mr replied. 

"Slip Punch," Alvida said as she slipped the air around her with a punch in the direction of Mr 1. A fair fist was pushed towards Mr 1. Mr 1 got hit with the punch. She punched the air again and another hit was received by Mr 1. He spat out blood as he felt his internal organs got directly punched. 

Mr 1 got dodged out of the way and ran towards Alvida. He closed the distance. He tried to punch her, however Alvida dodged. He turned his hand into claws again and tried to strike Alvida's face. Alvida ducked down. Mr 1 followed it with a kick. Alvida got hit and slid back. She smiled. 

"Slipstream Cannon," Alvida spun her body rapidly, which generated a powerful current of air. Ahe compressed the current and fired it at Mr 1 as a powerful projectile. Mr 1 got hit straight on the chest. He felt his lung collapse and spat blood out. Mr 1 was knocked back and was flung away by the force. He went flying and hit the ground. He was knocked out. 

She looked at the handle of her iron mace on the floor. She sighed. "I will have to get a new one," Alvida muttered to herself.
