Even though there were a lot of guys around him right now, and they wanted to retort, seeing the teacher approach made them shut up.

In the end, they just watched as Ying Ye Zhenshi walked onto the starting line and cursed at him.

From Ike's point of view, the boy had no friends at all, and that had probably been the case in junior high school too.

So naturally, it would be impossible for him to do well at activities such as swimming since he had no one to compete against and show off to.
