"Behold, our grand prize!" 

That declaration yanked Aakur's attention away from the back wall.

"What do you mean by that? Are you referring to the gold trapped behind this plague ore?" 

Rizz looked trotted up to that expanse of black ore. He lightly brushed his fingers over it, making sure to not cut himself on the rough patches of the hard sediment stuck to the ore's surface. 

"No. I'm not talking about the gold."

That blunt, soft-toned answer was a blow to the head for every party member. 

"Too bad it's still out of reach…" Rizz added, stifling his apprentices before they could interject with further questions. 

"I'd normally wish for the real thing instead of this fake shit. But even this shit is too valuable. Compared to the basic shit I'm forced to work with for now. At least we can gather it and store it for later. Maybe we'll get lucky and get blessed with the materials for an arcane furnace.
