Warriors past

Kali was in her room, a big private palace made with her own powers. Like every other god, if you become a god, you can create a domain, and this palace was hers. She could make it bigger, but now that it is smaller, she is multiple times stronger than if she had her domain to the limit.

The only time a god or goddess will use their domain space to their fullest extent is when a god-king marks a territory for his Pantheon, and even under those circumstances, the other gods under the god-king will help, so the burden is not only on him.

Kali's domain is much more powerful than that of an average god-king, and that is because of the special energy type she had to fight in her previous world. Normally, she only came in contact with magical and heavenly energy. Her ascension to godhood was the same as that. She was at her limit with magic power and used heavenly power to gain more believers and get stronger that way.

At some point in her life, she had her home planet under 'control,' and every living being on that planet worshipped some form she had taken during her travels. For small villages, she became the water god, blessing them with rain and protecting them from floods. For knights, she became the goddess of war, giving them extra courage and blessings for war.

For scholars, she became the goddess of wisdom, whom they looked up to as all-knowing. Even for beasts in a mountain far from civilization, she was worshipped. For beasts, she was the goddess of mercy, who gave every one of their brothers and sisters mercy after they died in battle or in a hunt for their tribe. She blessed them with eternal rest or an endless war, where they could fight endlessly, which is what those beasts wanted.

But she became as strong as every being on that planet prayed to her. Her powers grew, and she was noticed by another strong being, but unlike her, who was on her home planet and only had a limited fighting power because the forces she had weren't all that powerful in the grand scheme of things. Those monsters she faced could reproduce weekly, and their nests were difficult to locate. She saw her people die one after another, and she couldn't take it anymore.

Kali went mad, and all the divinity that was initially planned to make a booster on the planet so that they could move while the monsters would be left behind was used up to get her through her next stage of advancement. She became more than just a god or god-king. She ascended those things. She became the source of energy. She ascended good or evil and could decide what good or evil was. 

With her new powers, she began to make her way to these monsters that disturbed her home without reason and began to slaughter everything on her side. Her subordinates were teleported away when her sword slashes or her wave of energy hit them. This was one of the things she could do unconsciously. Her energy made it impossible to damage an ally or someone she didn't want to hurt.

She was slaughtering everything, and she wondered how many she had to kill until they were all dead. At that moment, she felt ten powerful energy signals at the edge of her radar. Those energies were definitely the most powerful of these monsters, so she teleported directly to them. All of the monsters' defences were instantly activated, and the ten-man council stood there shocked.

Kali didn't waste any time and directly attacked them. 

"how dare you think you can take us on"

"Kill her!"

Kali wanted to have this quickly over with and attacked the ten elders with a powerful sword. Nine out of the ten just dodged the sword attack because while they were confident that they could block it, they weren't sure what energy she used, so they played it safe. The one who didn't dodge was one of the more arrogant members of the ten elders.

"Hahaha, let's see what you can do to me."

He created multiple shields in anticipation of the sword strike. The sword energy came closer, and he was prepared to block it, but just when it hit the first barrier, it was sliced up immediately. That was because even though those shields had magic resistance, nullification, and heavenly resistance and nullification, Kali didn't attack him with those two energies.

When she ascended to becoming more than a god, she felt a new energy become available to her, but that energy had an enormous drawback. The energy she found was known as Chaos. Chaos existed before the creation of any life, so only a handful of people can wield it. And while she was a candidate to be one, she wasn't one yet, so she would damage herself more if she used it.

If she had more time to stabilize and, gather her energy and properly ascend instead of this rushed process, she could definitely wield this amazing power. Still, at that moment, it was unfeasible. The sword strike broke the second barrier, the third and the fourth.

"No, this isn't possible, no, no, no, no. Please tell me you're joking. DON'T FUCK WITH ME"

That elder put all his energy into the rest of his shields to protect him, only to be met with a sword strike right in front of his face. Before he knew it, his whole body was chopped in pieces, and even with their monstrous regeneration, he couldn't get back. 

"What have you done to me!"

The elder bellowed at the woman who was standing in the middle. Surrounded by the rest of the elders. Kali looked calmly at the disfigured monster that lay in pieces because of her.

"I am going to do what all of you deserve for getting in my way and bothering my people."

She snapped her fingers, and the elder lying on the ground was the only one affected by her actions.

"Ahhhhhh What... What is thissss ahhhhh."

"Doing what I should have done a long time ago."

The elder who was lying down in pieces evaporated, and the energy was directly absorbed by Kali.
