Jane Howard looked at Brian in horror and asked with a trembling voice, "Who... Who is your brother?"

Amelia Walker shivered, propping her hands on the ground, and stammered, "It's... It's Yas, Yas... Yas is his brother! My God..."

Jane cried out, "Impossible! Yas is just a lowly gigolo. How could he be from the Dotterling family...?" Before she could finish, her vision blurred, and then a slap landed on her face. The force knocked her off-balance, and her ears rang. Half of her face was numb, and it took her a while to regain consciousness. The taste of blood filled her mouth - two of her teeth had been knocked loose by the blow.

"How dare you insult my brother!" Brian seethed. "You're asking for death!"

Jane held her face, still unable to believe what was happening. "Impossible... impossible..."

Amelia pointed at him, her face filled with terror. "If Yas really is your brother, shouldn't you be dead? You didn't have a suitable heart match. You should have died already!"
