By the time we got home, we noticed that everyone in the room was strange. Walking to my mother worriedly, I said, "Mom. What's wrong?"

With her eyes red, my mother lowered her head without saying a word.

I knew someone must have been bullied her.

A middle-aged woman was sitting arrogantly in the middle of the sofa. Wearing luxurious clothes, she looked aggressive.

Looking at me, she was contemptuous and mocking.

She was the mother of Kevin and Hayden's mother, Jessie Reyes.

Kevin walked in with large strides. Then he exchanged glances with Hayden standing silently at the side.
