Ch.48

"I didn't know my sister had it in her," Haley says seeing Alex drinking underage. 

"I can have fun!" Alex says back annoyed with Haley's smirk. 

"Guess Gabe is a bad influence on you," Haley says as I look over at them and roll my eyes. 

"So you and Haley gonna do a long-distance relationship?" I ask Andy who is sitting in our private room awkwardly while Maya is listening to the sisters and Eric is busy with his new friend. 

"Uhm… yeah," Andy says giving me an awkward look due to our past. 

"Well, hopefully, it works out better than your last one," I say referencing his fallen apart ten year long relationship. Andy winces at the mention, though I'm kinda happy on the inside getting a little revenge for Carlos. 

"Yeah," Andy says nodding his head and not adding anything else. 

Fortunately for everyone else, they got pretty buzzed, with only me and Andy being sober. Seems Alex, Maya, and Haley got each other drunk, while Eric got drunk trying to find another chick to have a three-way. Leaving Andy and me to ensure everyone got home safe. 

"I assume you and Haley have a room in the city?" I say as we herd the group outside around three in the morning. 

"We do, I can take her from here," Andy says and I nod my head as he gets a taxi for the two of them. 

I already texted Albert that we would need a ride soon. Which was waiting for us outside and we all climbed into the back. Well with me escorting them all inside it with Albert's help. 

"Young Master Eric is bringing home more lady friends… I will have to warn the staff for tomorrow morning," Albert says seeing Eric having found two women who agreed to sleep with him. 

"I assume he has done this a lot," I say as I lay down Maya on the seat in the back of the limbo, with Alex snuggled up in my lap. 

"Too often… I will try to keep the ride as smooth as possible. Though there are several, bags meant for if someone gets sick," Albert says showing me the bags in case people have to throw up. 

"Thanks, Albert, and sorry to bother you," I say feeling bad the older man had to wake up in the middle of the night for this. 

"It's quite alright, I'm used to this. Especially when Young Master Eric is around," Albert says and I just nod my head as he focuses back on driving.

The rest of the ride, I kept an eye on everyone to make sure if they needed to relieve themselves they could. We finally arrived back at the penthouse with no issues, though Albert had to help Maya walk, as I helped Alex. Thankfully Eric sobered up enough to walk inside himself with his two new women. 

I then placed Alex on our bed, removing her clothes but leaving her underwear on. Then I climbed into the bed snuggling up next to her. Sleep quickly took me over, I woke up the next day with Alex still passed out. Waking up the next day, was another hassle for the group, well except for me and Eric. 

"Best night ever!" Eric says walking out into the dining room and we see his two companions leave. 

"Way too loud!" Alex says with her head still hurting even though I gave her meds and water. 

"My bad," Eric says while high-fiving me as he walks past me. 

After everyone felt better we spent our last day hanging out with Haley and Andy. However, it was not that awkward anymore, since Andy and I talked last night being the only sober ones. Finally, after that, we all headed back to Harvard the following morning. We came back around Sunday afternoon, with classes starting like normal tomorrow. 

Thankfully we only had a few months of school left and then summer vacation would be here. Now that we all were officially members of the clubs we wanted to join we didn't have to do anything that crazy. Other than helping out with some of the activities and parties planned by both clubs. 

The classes went by like normal too, but Cathay was getting more and more flirtatious with me. Everyone in the school now could really tell that for some reason she was targeting me. There were rumors going around but I just tried to ignore them once I saw that Alex was getting really affected by them, I decided to confront Cathay. 

"I'm gonna talk with Cathay after school today," I say to Alex as we walk to class meeting up with the twin halfway there like normal. 

"Gabe, you don't have to do that," Alex says trying to play off that she is starting to really let the rumors get to her. 

"Alex, do you trust me?" I say and she turns to me with a serious look. 

"Completely," Alex says and I smile at her confidence in me. 

"Good, then I will make sure she understands what she is doing is no longer acceptable. That if necessary I will get lawyers involved," I say to Alex who nods her head. 

"Ok…" Alex says nodding her head. 

We then made our way to class and interestingly enough Cathay wasn't here today. So I postponed my talk with her. Then over the next few days, she still hadn't shown up to class. Until the following week, but when she came into class she completely ignored me. 

"What do you think happened with Cathay?" I ask the group as we walk to our next class. 

"Jealous she is ignoring you?" Eric says with a chuckle while I roll my eyes. 

"Should I still try to meet up with her later?" I ask Alex ignoring Eric who is laughing. 

"I mean, she seemed fine. Plus now the rumors are circling as to why she left… if she goes back to normal then sure you can talk with her," Alex says to me and I nod my head. 

Like that the next few weeks passed by with the last two weeks of school left. Then summer vacation would be here. Alex and I made plans with the twins too, aside from whatever our families are planning this summer. Today was the last day of normal classes before our finals next week. 

"Mr. Hunter, can you stay behind for a few minutes," Cathay says to me after our class ends, I share a confused look with Alex and the twins. 

"Uh, sure," I say nodding my head. 

"I would like to apologize for the way I acted this year. It seems I was not acting professionally and would like for us to put that behind us," Cathay says to me as I give her a confused look trying to figure out where this was coming from. 

"Uhm, yeah, sure… We can move on, just I ask you to keep things professional moving forward," I say while trying to figure out what is going on. 

"I appreciate that," Cathay says as I nod my head and leave. I can see Alex and the twins waiting nearby for me. 

"So, what the hell was that about?" Eric says before Alex or Maya can ask the same question. 

"She apologized… For how she was acting toward me this year. I've no idea what caused this all of a sudden…" I say to the group who nod their head thinking about it too. 

"I don't remember saying anything to anyone, outside the normal people we complain or talk with," Alex says thinking maybe she caused this. 

"Same," Maya says agreeing with Alex and we all turn to Eric. 

"What?.... Oh, yeah no idea why," Eric says with a shrug and everyone just nods their heads. Later that day as we are sitting in another class, Eric whispers to me.

"I think I remember what I may have done to cause Cathay's change…" Eric says as he appears to be thinking all day about her sudden change. 

"What?" I say looking at him with confusion. 

"So, you know the app, Tinder?" Eric says and I nod my head trying to think where this is going. 

"Well, I have a few profiles on there wearing masks to hide who I am. But each has different 'personalities' so I can match with more chicks. I think a week or two ago, I got drunk and matched with some milf… Oh shit! I was right!" Eric says pulling out his phone and making people turn to us, but we quickly play it off. 

"Fuck, dude! Check it out!" Eric says to me in a whispered excitement. 

"What the fuck!" I say almost loudly but catch myself. 

Eric shows me a few pictures he has of both him and Cathay hooking up. Though Eric was wearing this wearing masquerade mask, while Cathay was wearing the same thing. Then the video he showed me was them doing some role play and BDSM. I can never look at the two of them the same now. 

"I usually record this shit, so I can watch it later because, well you know… I just haven't gotten the chance to look back at this one yet," Eric says and then he pulls up Tinder. There we can see Cathay having tried to reach out to him, to meet up to talk. 

"I can't unsee what I just saw…" I say trying to get Eric's ass out of my head as it was being whipped by Cathay. 

"Oh, shut up," Eric says laughing off my disturbance. 

"What the hell did you guys do the whole class?" Alex says once class ends. As Eric and I talked about what to do with the Cathay situation. 

"Uhm…" I am not sure what to say here. 

"I fucked Cathay and totally forgot about it," Eric says dropping the bomb-making Maya and Alex stare at him in utter surprise. 

"Listen I was drunk, ok!" Eric says defending how he forgot. 

"There is a lot of proof and things I can never unsee," I say nodding my head and making them realize Eric is not messing around. 

"What the hell Eric! Are you gonna blackmail her?" Maya says as Alex looks at him curious, though I can see Alex kinda wouldn't hate that. 

"Maybe, I don't know… Gabe and I were talking about it, though I probably won't blackmail her. Just make sure she leaves my bro alone!… And maybe suggesting we can meet up a couple more times," Eric says whispering the last part which I hear making me chuckle. 

"Oh my God," Maya says sighing while walking away to our last class. 

"I kinda want to be there when you confront her," Alex says making us both laugh as we all quickly follow after Maya. 

The next few days passed with Eric finally making the time to meet up with Cathay. However, he allowed Alex and me to tag along secretly nearby. Plus we had him leave us on a phone call so we could hear what they were talking about. 

"So, you think this is gonna go well?" I ask Alex as we are hiding outside behind some bushes while Eric walks inside to meet Cathay at her office. 

"We can hope," Alex says as we hear Eric knock on the door with Cathay answering it.

"Are you alone?" Cathay says while probably looking around to make sure. 

"Yeah," Eric says playing along as Alex and I share a look very curious as to where this is going to go. 

"You guys need to hide better," we hear Maya's voice say behind us making us jump. 

"Jesus Maya!" Alex says though we aren't that close by for anyone to have heard us inside. 

"We are being discrete, not hiding," I say as Maya rolls her eyes. 

"Why are you here?" I then say with Alex nodding her head. 

"I'm curious to see if Eric is gonna actually blackmail her… Though if things turn sexual," Maya says trailing off. 

"Yeah, we don't want to hear that so we'll hang up if that happens," I say nodding my head. 

"Take a seat and we can talk," Cathay says to Eric and I imagine Eric sitting across from Cathay at her desk.
