27 Degrees in the Penumbra

Kin Thanakin Akasamanee is orphaned and adopted by his mother's bestfriend whom he calls Aunt Prim. Since aunt Prim is childless, she loves him like he's her own son. Kin feels like he owes much of his life to her. So later on when Aunt Prim also takes in her half-brother's daughter upon his death, Kin makes it his business to look after the young girl named Lida. Eventually, Kin falls in love with the beautiful Lida but is rejected since she only sees him as a brotherly figure. Despite her rejection, Kin continues to love and watch over Lida. However, he can't stop Lida from falling madly in love with a rich man who leads her to fall from grace. Enrage at the wrong done to Lida, Kin sets himself on a path of vengeance against the man who hurt her. Except the truth isn't always what it seems. And Kin is finding out that Tor, the younger son of the powerful Thanatwanaseti family, may be more than he could handle. At twenty-seven degrees in the penumbra, where the air is neither cold or hot but just perfect, Kin should feel at ease while planning his every move - but he's perspiring.
