"Evangeline? What are you doing here? You were the one who told everyone not to drift away and look at you. Everyone has been looking for -" Aaron paused when he looked at Evangeline's dark face.

"Hey, is everything okay?" He asked, extending his hand for her to take, and she nodded softly.

"Y-yeah, I am fine," Evangeline took his hand as he led her out of the haunted house.

"Evangeline, oh thank God. We were so worried for you. What were you doing inside all alone? Justin even went on that side to look for you because we couldn't find you and then Aaron suggested he go inside and look for you again," Wendy held Evangeline's hand, and she narrowed her eyes.

"Why would you guys think that? I am probably just a few minutes late," Evangeline whispered, looking at her friends, who were looking at her with an expression that said 'Seriously?'
