The Half Zombie and the Baby Fox Part 3

Arianne bit Evander's pale hands.

Evander didn't wince and only looked at the little fox. Strangely, from the bitten part, he could feel an odd strand of energy, different from the crystal cores he consumed.

It was warm and fuzzy.

Warm and fuzzy? Why did these two words come to mind? Evander's brows creased.

Blood seeped from the wounds, and some of it dripped on her throat. Arianne retrieved her little canine after having a taste of his blood. The little fox stuck its little tongue out and wiped the blood off with her padded paws.

"I forgot this guy is a half-zombie. I want to vomit." Arianne gagged before swiping her right claw in Evander's direction. The wind's blade carried menacing force and was flung at Evander.

Arianne's eyes glimmered with ferocious glint, then it turned to confusion and gradually astonishment.

"..." Ah, what did she witness?
