Changes while away

"What the hell is going on, I have been out for a while and it seems that chaos has spread out there, even the prices of things seem to have already gone high to this stage." The person who was talking to himself was Cheng Shan and he was now dressed in clean black pants and a white shirt, lying on the bed.

He had taken his time to shower and get cleaned, his skin seemed to be more smooth than even that of a baby, one could indeed mistake him for having used some makeup. But that was not important to him rather the information he was scrolling on the phone seemed to shock him. In the past few days, it seemed that some real damage had been done as some groups seemed to be fighting, and the most scary thing was that the government did not do anything about it.

Even though the propaganda on the media seemed to be promoting some unique versions, he could still see the other communication platforms mentioning this and the prices that were still rising even proof of this.

More importantly, he seemed to have seen another piece of news that was even more interesting to him the foreign countries were going to provide aid to his country.

Just looking through everything he was already sure that something was not right, in his line of thought, this was not sensible. He was not as ignorant as everyone else seemed, after all, he was someone who worked for others as such he had gathered a lot of information.

Based on the global rankings, there were the most powerful and richest families in the entire world who seemed to come from his country. Most of the businesses were controlled by them, in this way it would be unrealistic to claim that the government had reached a point where they needed foreign aid on some minor issues.

This kind of thing seemed to not go line in line with the existing data, and thus he already smelled something was off. But in the end, he was not concerned much, until he saw that some natural phenomenon was happening. It seemed that fog was spreading and to his surprise, the scientists seemed to have blamed it on global warming.

But he did not look at the cause, rather he seemed more interested in the fact that it claimed, the fog was spreading and the people evacuated. More importantly, the fog seemed to have the ability to jam electronics and this kind of information alone had him lost in thought.

"It seems that something abnormal is going on here, but for my good, best not get involved with those in power. The means they have might not be something that I can be able to deal with at my current level of strength." With the chaos that had been happening and the government doing nothing, he was able to figure out what was going on.

This was a struggle between the strong and he had no plans to meddle. More importantly, it seemed to act as a warning to him that the situation of the world was not under his understanding. The most important thing is that the weapons that are discussed on the internet and said to exist already seem like something he can't content against. Let alone the ones that are not disclosed, and in this way, he did not plan on standing out at all.

Let his clone continue to improve and perhaps the feedback would reach a point where it transforms his strength to the very limit of the world, perhaps then he would have fewer worries.

But he had already realized that the moment he took this path, perhaps he would always have concerns, and the reason for it was simple. The long life he has might indeed give him some chance to accumulate when it comes to wealth, but that would still pale in comparison to the ability to live out his long lifespan. From the information that scientists always present, outside the planet exists asteroids, and they are said to have massive destruction capabilities once they crush against the planet.

Some of the weapons in existence are already capable enough to cause destruction that equals that of some minor asteroids. With this in mind, how could he not be humble and calm down when faced with this level of destructive strength?

Even with ten transformations, he was sure that it would be impossible to survive such an attack. Nothing would be left behind if he withstood it, and thus he was sure that he was not there yet, this is not to cause trouble, but his existence is already a threat to others. Once they discover what he is capable of, he would be in trouble and the best outcome would be becoming some kind of lab rat.

With the obsessions of the rich in the moment, it would not be shocking, as such he looked through the information, before going to sleep.

He had wanted to experience this for a long time, so he would indeed be able to check the impact of sleep on him. He had not been able to sleep in the forest for many reasons, but at the moment he seemed to feel safe under his blanket.

Even though it seemed like an unrealistic situation, he had that sense of security calming his mind and allowing him to quickly fall into sleep.

The morning.

It was much quieter compared to the past and even when Cheng Shan woke up, he could feel it, His hearing seemed to be able to go further than a mile, even though he could not hear clearly what was being said at such further distance, he could feel the silence.

It seemed that the people even in this fishing village did not have the same motivation to wake up earlier, or perhaps they were scared of something. The thing that he could think about at the moment was the chaos that had been happening.

"it seems that even the fishermen's business was also being affected. Well, let me get on routine." He did not seem to be willing to accompany everyone into relaxing. He knew how well that would end up affecting him if he also decided to continue sleeping.

Even though he did not feel cold, he was not willing to start developing some lazy habit as it would become difficult to change once it became a thing. With the length of lifespan he had, it was beast to do things that would allow him to improve his survival and that was his strength.

Not everyone would think of things this way, but he was affected slightly by the nature of the fish clone as it had to fight off against others every time for food. The numerous killings seemed to have managed to allow him to understand that being weak is a sin. Some people are weak before nature and it takes their freedom away. Even if they end up living long and escaping nature, it would get them through natural causes. This is old age, and he also still has the stage he would be old, based on the lifespan on the panel.

In the end, he was sober, so what if he was able to live slightly longer than others? It was best to have the ability to survive that long, and being greedy, he wanted to practice more and increase the number.

Since he could not target the places that the government was eyeing, he was going to see if he could visit others. The accumulation of attribute points seemed to be an important thing to him and he was more interested in finding out how powerful some abilities would be once strengthened further in the future.

In the cold morning winds, Cheng Shan was practicing the Basic Sword technique and with every swing, he would also do the same in his mind, this was not as easy as it seemed and perhaps from time to time, managed to match the two.

This was indeed his next big practice plan and when he was done he shifted to Five Animal Boxing. Even though practicing was capable of allowing him to strengthen his spirit, it did not seem to reflect on the panel at all like he wanted.

From the moment he woke up, he practiced until the sun was already very high up hanging above his head.

At that moment his phone seemed to vibrate and when he looked up, someone seemed to be calling him.

It had been a long time since anyone contacted him, and this was normal since he did not have a life before. What a balance of work and life, that is not something that can be achieved at all.

Even at the moment, he seemed to spend more time on his practice, but he had no regrets since he saw the returns on it. That could not be said for the moment he used to work for others, they seemed to be exploiting him to the very end.
