[Yuito's POV]
The ray of sun hit my face and woke me up from my slumber. I was confused at first, not knowing where I was or why I was.
But slowly, clarity came to me and I opened my eyes to see the ceiling of my hotel. I stared up blankly as the event of yesterday came to my mind.
{I'm proud of you.} The author whispered in my head, {You have grown so much.}
I groaned, "This? First thing in the morning?" I pulled up the blanket and covered myself.
'Fuck I really did it.'
But it was no time to mourn for my dead children. I peeked from my blanket and looked at the wall clock.
"Fuck!!"
I did a kip up on the bed and did a long jump from my bed to the bathroom door. I literally flew into the bathroom and took the toothpaste and ate it.
I washed my face quickly and wet my toothbrush before quickly brushing my teeth while peeing. The constant brushing was messing with my control but I had impeccable aim as my pee did not spill out.
The tournament, like yesterday, starts at 10 am. And who do you think woke up at 9:15 am?
'M-E' fucking me.
I quickly refreshed myself in the bathroom and with light speed, I changed my pajamas and readied my equipments.
Luckily, my equipment was just as they were yesterday so I did not need to do much. They were all ready and prepared.
I drank the milk and other juices from the fridge and took chocolate bars and some bread from the cupboard of the hotel. Strapping my bag on my shoulder, I ran out of the door and sped towards the elevator.
And just like that, I made my way to the stadium as fast as I could while gorging down the snacks I brought.
Luckily, the hotel was not too far away from the stadium and I reached it sooner than expected. I was in front of the stadium by 9:40.
"Finally, I am not going to be late!!" I said to myself and I think that is when I fucked up. I jinxed myself.
The crowd of people in front of the stadium who had come to watch the tournament turned to my voice and they screamed when they saw me.
"It's him!!"
"It's FUJITA!!"
"Please take pictures with me!"
The people ran towards me and swarmed me as if I was some sort of celebrity. I could not bring myself to push them away and I took some pictures but it soon escalated to the point that I could not get myself out anymore.
I knew I had gotten popular and the world had come to realize my greatest, but in the moment of a great hurry, I forgot and revealed myself in public.
After some time passed, the security finally came to save me and I was led inside the stadium, and guess what?
I was late.
I was quickly checked by the staff and after they were done with the proceedings, I was led towards the room for me.
Actually, it was made for me and my crew but I was alone, so the room was all for me.
The staff showed me to my room and after that, he gave me a paper bag and said it was a gift from someone.
I had no idea what it was or from whom it was.
The staff told me I would be informed when my match came up and told me to stay put inside the room while watching the tournament on the TV.
After he left, I opened the bag and inside, I saw a transparent box that held different types of mochi.
I paused and observed the familiar box and wondered where I had seen it before. After some thinking, I realized I received the same type of gift from someone before my karate competition as well.
The box was beautifully decorated with words like 'good luck' and 'fighting!' written cutely. i could tell from the box that it was homemade and not made by some company.
I opened the box and ate the delicious mochi one by one. I was hungry after all so I easily finished the whole box while thinking about who the sender could be.
But in the end, it was quite obvious who it was.
I have no one close enough in Korea who would give me gifts like this, except one.
"Tsukimi." I said with a soft smile. She had sent me the same gift during my previous fights before. But I never even suspected that it was her because she could not cook anything.
But I guess she was a master at making mochi because they were excellent.
In the end, I was just happy I got to eat a delicious mochi. And if anything, it was almost cute coming from her. Almost.
I quickly took off my tracksuit changed into my shorts and started bandaging up as I waited for my match while watching the tournament from the TV.
The image of Munseoug and our encounter came to my mind. My blood boiled in excitement and I even started sweating because my body was subconsciously getting ready for battle.
"This will be fun."

[3rd POV]
*YAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!*
*WHOOOOOOOOOOOOPO!!!!*
*YHOOOOOOWOWWWWW!!!*
The cheers of the audience were deafening. It was loud enough that it shook the foundation of the stadium as if an earthquake had struck.
It was so loud that you would feel like your other senses were drowning and the only thing you know is the chaotic screams of the crowd.
Like being submerged a kilometer into the deep ocean. The eardrum closed to protect itself from the vibrations called sound.
Yuito did not expect such a crowd.
And he definitely did not expect them to cheer for him.
Korea was a country that produced many great fighters, that have been mentioned countless times. Another thing worth mentioning was that combat sports was a beloved sport in Korea.
Fighters were respected and admired in Korea and any sports related to combat be it Karate, Taekwondo, Judo, Boxing, etc are all popular in Korea with MMA being at the very top of the list.
Taekwondo was even the national sport of Korea. From that alone, you could tell how much the Koreans love fighting sports.
It was how Basketball was loved in America, Cricket in India, or Football in Brazil.
And with the hype the current tournament had around the world because of Yuito, every Korean wanted to watch the match.
Not only that, big screens were put up in community halls so that people could watch it together with others as if they were in the stadium, and some workplaces and private schools declared holidays just so that could watch the tournament
That was how much of an effect Yuito had. The hype he brought into the fighting world was no joke.
Also, he was going to fight against Munseoug, the rising star and pride of Korea. So the excitement the people had of the match was proportional to a match between world champions.
Who would win?
The rising star and prodigy of Japan, or the pride and rising star of Korea?
One contributer of the hype was the two countries had a rivalry from long ago. Many Japanese sports officials and ministers also came to Korea in the morning just to watch the match and support their athlete.
They were of the same age as well, with Museou being 18 recently and Yuito nearly being 17. The age gap between them was not even 2 years.
The competition that Yuito started on a whim and the desire to fight with Munseoug had grown to such a frightening degree.
Everyone wanted to see them fight.
****
Museough was inside the octagon. He was stretching his muscles and getting ready to fight under the cheering of the crowd.
Naturally, in his home country, Museoung had the favor of the majority of the crowd as they screamed at him to beat the foreigner.
Museoug was in an extreme state of calmness as his mind went over the strategies they had devices to fight against Yuito.
He looked around the stadium and looked at the audience everywhere. They were absolutely packed. The size of the crowd was trice the amount of people the stadium could hold.
And the majority of them were rooting for him.
Under such hope, losing was not an option for Munseoung.
"Calm your nerves. Don't be tense, that would make you lose your stamina. Be loose and calm, remember your training. You can win this." His coach was telling him from outside the octagon.
Museoug found it a bit weird that they were acting like the challenger here. He was supposed to be the bigger one, the stronger one, the older one.
He was supposed to outclass Yuito in every aspect. He was signed with the UFC for God's sake while this was Yuito's first MMA fight.
So why?
Why does he feel like he was the one going up to challenge the reigning champion? It was baffling to him just how much presence and aura Yuito had.
"Aaaaaaaad NOW!!! Let us welcome the CHALLENGER!!" The announcer who was inside the octagon announced. There were also two cameramen who focused on him and Museoung respectively.
"Let us welcome!!! The prodigy from JAPAN!! The fighter who has finished all his opponents in the first round, with a skill that almost made him look INNVINCIBLE."
The crowd cheered again. Although they may not root for him, they sure were excited to welcome him
"Weighing at 87 kg and standing at 6 feet tall. He is the national champion of Japan in different martial arts like Boxing, Karate, Wrestling, and Muay Thai."
"GENTLEMAN AND ESPECIALLY THE LADIES!! PLEASE WELCOME 'THE PRINCE CHARMING'...."
"FUJITA YUITOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
Then the lights turned dim and flashlights focused on the entrance to the areas. All of the big screens focused on it as well and out he came.
When they saw his chilling appearance, the crowd went absolutely nuts.
*WHAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWOWWWWWW!!!!!*
Yuito was already in his shorts and his torso was bare with beads of sweat flowing down from it. His muscles were especially defined under the single light and with the pump he had.
His body did not even look human and seemed to be carved from stone in the image of a Greek God.
When a fighter and his crew were supposed to walk out, he came out completely alone. As if he did not need help from anyone else and he alone was enough to fight against the world.
He also did not make a show. He did not play any music. He did not do shadowboxing while walking towards the arena.
He was walking but he was as fast as a person who was running.
But the thing that drove the people nuts was his glowing purple eyes and the savage smile on his face.
Like a predator who finally found a worthy prey, he focused only on Museoung who was in the octagon.
With eyes glowing purple and a smile that should be on a demon instead of a pretty boy like him, he quickly made his way towards his opponent.
The fight was starting.
