"Do you really think that baby was yours?"

Yang Lingyun's grin faded almost instantly at Gu Sheng's question. He cleared his throat and straightened up in his chair, regaining his usual composed demeanor. "It is nothing!" 

"If you say so, sir. But you seem unusually cheerful today."

Yang Lingyun coldly glared. "And you seem unusually chatty today..."

"No....I am sorry!" 

In truth, Yang Lingyun was in a pleasant mood because he had seen Song Yazhi's statement.

For a week, he had been jealous for no reason and it was eating him from the inside.

It was all because of Song Yazhi patting Xia Lihua's head. That innocuous gesture replayed in his mind over and over, turning the back of his eyes red with rage.

Now that he knew Song Yazhi was Xia Lihua's godfather, he felt a sense of relief he hadn't expected.
