Chapter 19: Searching for the God of Thunder

"Technology will soon change your daily life. No more hard work, freeing up time for leisure and enjoying the good life..." Howard Stark's voice echoed in Tony Stark's ears, and he couldn't help but feel a moment of trance, as if he had returned to the past.

However, although it was Howard Stark's voice, it wasn't him speaking directly to Tony. It was a video played at the Stark Expo, featuring his father.

Tony blinked hard, and the metal device in front of him displayed the words "Blood Toxicity: 19%."

"Was the previous answering space a dream?" Tony Stark felt like the experience just now was indeed like a dream.

But when he looked up and saw the brand-new Mark 7 armor in front of him, he knew that he wasn't dreaming.

"The lines in the video and before entering the answering space were connected. I'm still here, testing the toxicity in my blood..." Tony Stark put away the device and glanced at the time again. "So, time doesn't flow inside the answering space. I entered and came out at the same moment!"

Thinking again that he had inexplicably arrived in a completely new place, the fact that the questioner could manipulate both space and time amazed him!

What an incredible ability it was!

But on second thought, the questioner could even capture glimpses of the future and manipulate space and time, so it didn't seem strange at all.

"I really want to meet this questioner." Tony Stark couldn't help but think in his mind. "I wonder who they are."

"Romanoff, it feels like I just had an incredibly real dream..." Nick Fury also had the same feeling as Tony Stark, as if he had been dreaming.

"Fury, this is no dream." Natasha Romanoff reached out her hand, and in her palm lay a bottle of green liquid.

"Of course, I know that you can't bring things out of dreams." Nick Fury said while riding his green hoverboard.

"Tony Stark rewarded himself with a Mark 7 armor. Let's go and take a look." Nick Fury immediately dialed Tony Stark's number on his phone.

"Stark." The call connected quickly, and Nick Fury said, "This is Nick Fury. I'm currently at the Stark Expo, and Romanoff and I are together. Can we meet?"

"I'll have Happy pick you up. I'll be waiting for you backstage." Tony Stark said.

Three minutes later, Nick Fury, Natasha Romanoff, and Tony Stark, the three "answer friends" who had just finished answering questions, gathered together again.

"Have you studied the Mark 7 armor? Are there any flaws?" Nick Fury pointed to the stylish Mark 7 armor and asked.

"It's already connected to J.A.R.V.I.S., practically perfect, as if I made it with my own hands. Oh no, it is made by my own hands." Tony Stark sat there, looking lazy but unusually serious. "Fury, although it's still too early to draw conclusions, the videos we saw in the answering space, I'm afraid they are really glimpses of the future."

"I understand. I'll send my most reliable people to New Mexico right away." Nick Fury said in a low voice, "Once we meet Thor, we can be sure that what we saw in the answering space is indeed snippets of the future!"

"Captain America needs to search quickly. He's likely not dead, and there's also the Hulk, our future teammate..."

"Stark, I know." Nick Fury interrupted Tony Stark, "And there's also Doctor Strange. I'll search for him too." He placed the green hoverboard on the ground. "Stark, I'll leave it to you."

"Don't worry, I will develop it as quickly as possible, and I will definitely give it back to you before you get assassinated," Tony Stark said.

After Nick Fury returned, he immediately called his trusted agent, Phil Coulson.

"Agent, is there an emergency?" Phil Coulson looked at Nick Fury's expression and vaguely sensed that something significant had happened.

"Coulson, get ready. You're going to New Mexico right away," Nick Fury said, spreading three sketch portraits on the table. "Find these three people, keep an eye on them discreetly, and remember, do not disturb them until that person appears."

"Which person?"

"Thor, the God of Thunder," Nick Fury said. "I know you're skeptical, but trust me, I feel the same way. However, this is a matter of great importance, concerning the safety of the entire Earth and the survival of humanity. Thor will come to Earth, and I want you to be there waiting for him."

"Sir, today isn't April Fools' Day, is it?" Phil Coulson couldn't believe his ears. He was being asked to wait for a god from myth and legend. What was his boss up to?

"Coulson, we fought aliens together. I thought you'd have a stronger acceptance ability," Nick Fury chuckled. "Just think of this Thor as another type of alien. Maybe it's easier for you to accept."

"Sir, what does Thor want on Earth?" Phil Coulson stared at Nick Fury's face for three seconds, finally confirming that his boss was serious. "To be frank, our initial encounter with those aliens years ago wasn't pleasant."

"You don't have to worry about that. Thor should be on our side."

"Our side?"

"I can't explain it to you right now, but you'll find out later. Thor will be an important ally for us as we fight against powerful enemies."

"Sir, I'm getting more and more confused. Are you saying a god will fight alongside us? Who is my enemy if even gods need to join forces with us?"

"Coulson, I have reliable intelligence that one day in the future, aliens will visit Earth again," Nick Fury stood up, pacing back and forth, and handed a hand-drawn sketch of Thor to Phil Coulson. "But this time, the aliens won't sneak around like they did ten years ago. They will come with an army and weapons, ready to attack us directly! The whole of New York will become a battlefield. And the key to all of this lies with Thor. That's why your trip to New Mexico is crucial."

"Does Thor look like this?" Phil Coulson took the drawing, depicting a tall, muscular young Caucasian man. "He looks like a gym trainer."

"A gym trainer wouldn't be wielding a hammer," Nick Fury said. "It's been a while since I've drawn, so my skills might be a bit rusty, but it should be enough for you to recognize him."

"Can he use his hammer to summon lightning, storms, and rain?"

"Perhaps, we don't know yet," Nick Fury said. "But what we can be sure of is that it's a formidable weapon."
