"What is the eternal beginning, the endpoint of time and space, and the start of every endpoint?"

After posing the question, the bronze door knocker in the shape of an eagle fell silent, as if waiting for an answer.

Albert furrowed his brow and repeated the riddle of the bronze door knocker to himself before complaining, "I hate riddles."

Being blocked by a riddle at such a crucial moment made Albert feel uneasy all over.

Albert knew that he might not be able to guess the answer, at least not for the time being.

The solution to this challenge was actually quite simple—understand all the riddles. The questions asked by the bronze door knocker would undoubtedly repeat themselves.

After all, not all Ravenclaw students could be intelligent geniuses who could answer the questions. The reason they could answer them was that they had learned the answers from others.

Knowledge is meant for people to learn from.

When someone couldn't answer the question posed by the bronze door knocker, they could only wait for someone else to answer it, thus gaining knowledge they didn't possess.

Those who weren't Ravenclaw students naturally had no chance to learn the answers to the bronze door knocker's questions from older students. Therefore, they couldn't pass this simple barrier.

Even for geniuses, it wouldn't be easy to immediately come up with an answer without having encountered similar riddles before.

Albert never considered himself a genius, so he didn't expect to be able to answer the question posed by the bronze door knocker immediately.

Should he really resort to using the Disillusionment Charm, lurk near the entrance of the Ravenclaw common room, and eavesdrop on the riddles and their answers from the bronze door knocker?

That would be absurd!

Even if he obtained some riddles and their answers from Ravenclaw students, the riddles would surely change the next time he came.

"This is really giving me a headache!" Albert muttered to himself.

He had temporarily given up on answering the question posed by the bronze door knocker. Unless it happened to ask a question about phoenixes and fire.

But the chances of that were slim to none.

Albert recorded the riddle and got up to leave the Room of Requirement. After all, he already knew how to enter, so he could come back next time to answer the question posed by the bronze door knocker.

After leaving the Room of Requirement, Albert went straight to the library.

"Where did you just go?" Fred looked up and asked, "I heard that you entered the library but turned around and left."

"Just remembered something," Albert said as he sat in the vacant seat occupied by Lee Jordan and Fred.

"What is it?" Fred asked again.

Albert took out his notebook and flipped to the page with the riddle, showing it to Fred.

"What?" Lee Jordan leaned over to take a look, and his expression froze after seeing the contents of the notebook.

"A riddle. Can you guess the answer?" Albert asked the two.

"How idle are you!" Lee Jordan withdrew his head and continued working on his holiday homework. It was clear that he couldn't guess the answer either.

George, equally curious, leaned over for a moment but then went back to doing his own holiday homework.

That guy always liked studying those strange things.

The three of them marveled at the idleness of their roommate. If they had this much free time to ponder riddle answers, they might as well do a few more problems.

Albert didn't expect the others to help him solve the problem and began to read the contents of the riddle seriously.

"What is the eternal beginning? What is the endpoint of time? What is the endpoint of space? What is the start of every endpoint?"

"There should be a common point among them."

Albert pondered carefully and wrote down his analysis on a scrap of paper.

Firstly, whatever it was, it had to be eternal and related to time and space.

"Moments?"

If time is eternal, then the moment it begins is the eternal beginning, and the final moment of a period of time is the endpoint of that time.

Firstly, whatever it was, it had to be eternal and related to time and space.

"Moments?"

If time is eternal, then the moment it begins is the eternal beginning, and the final moment of a period of time is the endpoint of that time.

"But...what is the endpoint of space?"

Could it be referring to four-dimensional space?

People have speculated that four-dimensional space refers to time.

Well, that seems to fit, barely.

Barely fit, my foot!

Albert didn't think this was the answer the bronze door knocker was looking for. He even doubted whether wizards knew what four-dimensional space was.

Even though wizards surpassed Muggles in the study of time.

So...this definitely couldn't be the correct answer...which means...

"Could I be trapped in a thinking trap?" Albert stared at the riddle.

"The answer here isn't representative of something, but it refers to the commonality among eternity, time, space, and endpoints."

The commonality among eternity, time, space, and endpoints?

Albert's finger traced over the word "eternal," quietly reading it out, and then he froze.

Eternal?

In that moment, Albert suddenly felt like he knew the answer to the riddle. The word for time is "time," for space is "place," and for endpoint is "end."

So...the answer to the bronze door knocker is actually "E"?

A common letter puzzle in the UK?

Albert looked at the letter "E" on his notebook and felt that it was more suitable as the answer to the bronze door knocker than "moments."

"It seems like I'm not that stupid after all. At least I guessed the answer."

"Are you deliberately mocking us?"

Upon hearing Albert's words, Fred couldn't help but roll his eyes at him.

If you call yourself stupid, what does that make us?

Giants?

"Why aren't you doing your holiday homework?" Angelina took her gaze off the parchment and couldn't help but ask.

"Albert is enjoying the joy of solving riddles!" Lee Jordan turned his head and asked, "What's the answer?"

"The letter 'E.'"

"Where did you get this riddle?" Angelina glanced at the contents of the riddle and muttered, "It doesn't seem that difficult."

"That's because you just heard the answer. Of course, it's not difficult," Lee Jordan said helplessly as he looked at Angelina. He had just seen the riddle and didn't think in that direction at all.

"Are you thinking of challenging the Ravenclaw door knocker riddles?" Alicia looked at Albert suspiciously and continued, "It is said that a Ravenclaw student once challenged the door knocker and answered more than a hundred riddles correctly."

"That's a good idea." Albert nodded, "I'll try it when I have the time."

"I'm curious about the reaction of Ravenclaw students when they find out. Let me know when you go, and take me with you," George raised his head and said, "If you can answer a few, that's already great."

"We have confidence in you." Fred and George said together, "We believe you're definitely smarter than Ravenclaw students."

I don't even have confidence in myself, where do you two get your confidence from?

Albert glanced at the task prompt on the task panel and found a new task:
