I followed Xulius to the deeper parts of that underground area, eventually stopping at a private room with no one beside us.

"You did a great thing for us," Xulius remarked. "Next week, our training will start. You'll get into the Nascent Soul realm quickly; I can promise you that."

That was good to hear! I wanted it as fast as possible, though I knew reaching it would still take me a long time. For some reason, the words coming from Xulius' mouth made me uneasy, thinking that the whole thing was a trap or something. It was my instinct talking.

I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease, despite Xulius' reassuring words. I decided to trust my instincts and remain cautious throughout the training process. It was crucial for me to stay vigilant and ensure my own safety, even as I pursued my goal of reaching the Nascent Soul realm.

But I did not know at that time that things would not go the way I wanted them to.
