Chapter 146: Old Friend

I rubbed my eyes a few times to see if I was seeing it right. The young man in the wanted poster was me! How? No one had found me yet, as the archipelago was not a place others wanted to go.

Also, the island I was on was remote, much farther from the province than the other islands. If it were one of the close islands, I would understand someone looking for me there, but at a remote island like the one I was on? No way!

Before the cultivator could notice my presence, I ducked my face away and left the area. I could not just leave because that would make me look suspicious, so I walked out looking as normal as possible, trying to find a clothing shop to go to.

"Hello, sir! What do you need?" an attendant said.

"I am looking for a long robe with a hood to protect me from the weather. Is there something like it here?" I asked the lady.
