Back to America

I was riding my bike through the jungle traveling back to the base to return back to America. I was accompanied by Lorraine who was riding with me on the bike while the once majestic Marauder - The Beast was nowhere to be seen along with my teammates.

It has been a year since we entered the enemy territory and has destroyed 20 enemy bases alone without any need for an air strike or support from the main army. We accomplished a great record that none other achieved. I had become the hero that I wanted to be but I lost all my teammates in that process. Most of them were casualties from sneaking into enemy bases while a few that survived this hell battle along with The Beast were destroyed by the new tank created by Hydra that was powered by energy from the Tesseract.

Yes, it is time. The plot has started Schmidt has found the Tesseract and Dr. Erskine has finished his formula for super soldier serum. I had to flee from the Hydra soldiers so as to not harm Lorraine by accident from the energy weapons. The Marauder was easily destroyed by the energy gun from the tank it just disintegrated the metal. At first, I thought my vehicles gave the alliance overwhelming power causing changes to the timeline but now they are just like a scrap in front of these energy weapons. This will balance out the power difference and will not cause any changes in the timeline.

After traveling for days we reached an alliance base and reported our mission status and about my teammates' deaths and handed over their belongings. As it was wartime to improve the morale of soldiers and active enlistment. Soldiers are immediately promoted if they have enough military merits. With my achievements, I had more than enough merits so they immediately promoted me to 'Lieutenant Colonel' on the orders of 'General' of the allied forces.

After a brief talk about the situation behind the enemy lines with the general, I along with Lorraine traveled back to America as I received an order to oversee the Super Soldier experiment that is soon to be conducted.

After a long journey, we reached America. While traveling only one thing was on my mind that is to quickly launch a cargo plane to reduce the time taken to travel between America and UK. We went to the SSR military base where the training is being conducted for super soldier selection. When I reached the base I found out that it was the last day of selection and I knew who was going to be selected so I went to Colonel to see his face upon failing to convince the Doctor's decision. The expression on him was very satisfying as he always wants things to go his way but failed this time. Later I met Peggy and introduced her to Lorraine and we had a wonderful night together filled with pleasure.

The next day it was time for the experiment I and Lorraine had left early to check and secure the area where the experiment is going to be done while Carter was ordered to bring Steve to the lab. I remember who and where the Hydra spies are hiding and from where they will attack. As they are going to blow up the vehicles I hid my bike in an alley by the flower further from the flower shop. Now all I have to wait for them to attack kill Eriskine and rob the serum so that I can take it from them without anyone noticing and silence them.
