To make this promise

Grand Empress Dowager looked at the note intently and at the seal. "How much more skills do you possess, Xianwu?" she mumbled. She would have never been caught if Xianwu had not presented a fake note in her handwriting to the Emperor. Today, she faced humiliation in front of her entire family. 

She pulled out the drawer's chest and put the note inside it before closing it. Placing her hands on the floor desk, Grand Empress Dowager pledged to herself, "I have let you win today. But soon, I'll throw you both out of this palace." 

She picked up the brush after dipping it into the black ink she had prepared earlier and wrote something on the paper. She let the ink dry and put it inside the envelope. "I will make you regret of staying in this palace," Grand Empress Dowager said as she looked at the envelope. 

She opened a gold case and put it beneath the surface to keep the jewelry. Closing the case, the Grand Empress Dowager called Lady Donggu inside.
