Ryu:" That should be enough."

Stopping injected Ryu with Senjutsu Chakra, I stepped back as Shisui picked up Ryuband and put him up on his shoulder.

" Seems you warmed up to Ryu."

Shisui:" Yeah, as long as he stops chasing my ravens around."

Ryu:" Can't it in my blood."

Waitress:" Here's your meal."

The waitress dropped off our food as me and Shisui were conversing.

Shisui:" Here's your tuna, Ryu."

Ryu:" Why, thank you."

" So, find anything of interest?"

Shisui:" Met lady Tsunade in a gambling den, Jiraiya in a public bathhouse. Itachi comes to talk once in a while."

" I see, and Itachi?"

Shisui:" He same as always, and the Akatsuki doing the same as well."

" I see."

Shisui:" Well, we know that Obito is controlling Kirigakure, so what do we do after setting up a communication line?"

" Support Terumi Mei, also I'm sure you've know about Aoi?"

Shisui:" Yup, the one with a single Bayakugan, I've seen him before."

" Yes, him try not to get close or avoid him. I'm sure he still remembers your chakra signature.

Shisui:" Hmm, you're right."

" And if possible, you should make some small bases for supplies. "

Shisui:" Is it alright to train some people?"

" You mean to make an organization?"

Shisui:" Yeah, something like that."

" Well, you could, but you have to be responsible for it."

After getting my consent, Shisui seemed happy.

" Lazy bastard."

Shisui:" Ahem, anyways me and Ryu have a lot of work to do so well be leaving after taking a look around the village."

" Sure."

After eating breakfast, Shisui got up and left. Finishing my meal as well, I left the restaurant.

" Hmm, yo Sasuke."

Sasuke:" Yuto." He spoke with a cold face.

" Going to the academy?"

Sasuke walked off without replying.

" Yeesh, tone down the emo vibes."

Saskue stopped and turned his head towards me

Sasuke:" You know, don't you?"

" Hmm? know what?"

Sasuke:" Itachi."

" Don't know what you're talking about."

[ Deception Failed ]

Sasuke:" Hmp. sure you don't."

Sasuke walked off as I stared at his back.

' Well, that's a first. I'm sure he doubts me since Itachi would hang out with me and Shisui.'

' Oh well.' Shrugging my shoulders, I walked towards the village gates to meet up with Kakashi to discuss a new mission.

After a while, I arrived at the gates and, as always, had to wait for Kakashi.

Kakshi:" Yo, sorry I'm late. I was...."

" Shut it, just tell me the mission already."

Kakashi:" You're no fun." Before Kakashi could share the mission I spoke.

" Please don't let it be anymore bandits."

Kakashi:" Don't worry, we're not. It's going to be an escort mission."

" An escort, huh? alright. But i won't be surprised if we were attacked by bandits again."

Kakashi:" Now let's just wait for our client."

Kid:" Daddy, look a shinobi!!"

Merchant:" Ahem, hello, are you my escorts?"

Kakashi:" Why yes, we are."

Merchant:" Perfect, now we could get moving and arrive at the destination by nightfall."

I kept quiet as I followed Kakashi. The merchant went into his carriage with his son.

* Few Hours Later *

We finally arrived at town at night.

Merchant:" Thank you two for escorting me, I'll be sure to leave a tip for you."

kid:" Daddy, Daddy, I want to see the new festival come on.."

Merchant:" Of course, son, I'll see you two around." After that, the father and son walked off.

" Laters."

Kakashi:" Have a good night."

" Should we just head home or just find a hotel?"

Kakashi:" Let's find a hotel for now. And go back in the morning."

" Alright."

Kakashi:" You sure you don't want to see the festival here?"

" I'm alright, I just want to sleep."

Kakashi:" Well, it must've been hard to play with the kid, but you did a great job."

" Uh huh. Sure." Rubbing my shoulders that the kid was riding on, I was ready to sleep.

Finally arriving back to the village, the Hokage gave us another mission.

" So you're finally shoeing your true colors. you're making me work as a slave!!"

Hokage:" Yes." Puffing out a smoke from his smoke pipe, he had a small smile. And Shikaku was just watching on as Kakashi was reading his book.

Shikaku:" Ahem, your work has been excellent, Yuto. we thought you could handle more missions, especially C rank and higher."

" As long as I don't pick up trash."

Hokage:" Here's your next mission."

' Sigh, Goddammit.'

Hokage:" Exterminating bandits that were spotted, they're probably a new group."

Walking out of the Hokage building with Kakashi, we both immediately set out to kill the bandits.

" Hey, didn't we just come from there?"

Kakashi:" Huh, I guess you're right."

* At the edge of the land of fire*

* Booom!!! *

Kakashi:" Let's hurry up."

Speeding up to reach an explosion that went off in the distance, we both reached three carts burned.

" These carts, they're the ones from the last mission."

Kakashi:" Yeah, it seems we can't do anything for them now."

???:" Over here, there's survivors here."

A bandit shouted from the trees, Kakashi and I rushed to sound, and reached to an opened area.

Seeing the merchant and his son okay, along with a few others, I drew my katana and attacked.

I killed multiple bandits at once and killed any of them that were out of my attacks. Kakashi also joined with a kunai.

A few minutes passed with me, and Kakashi killed the last bandit.

Merchant:" I can't thank you enough, thank you, thank you."

Kakashi:" It's alright, we're here to get rid of the bandits anyways."

" As long as you're okay, then it should be fine. We'll escort you to a nearby town."

Merchant:" Thank you once again." He said as he bowed again and again.

After cleaning up the mess and applying first aid to the ones that were injured, me and Kakashi escorted them back to town.

And as we finished saying our goodbyes we left back to the village before night time.

Hokage:" Good work, you two, especially on a small time scale."

Shikaku:" There's been an increase of bandits lately. Mostly from Kirigakure."

Hokage:" Yes, which is why I want to send the both of you two to investigate the inner problem of Kirigakure."

Kakashi:" But lord Hokage, Yuto isn't..."

Hokage:" I know he's not ready, but I want you to lead him on this and teach him on the way."

Kakashi:" Understood Lord Hokage."

The Hokage then turned to face me.

Hokage:" Listen, Yuto, you don't have to do this if you're not ready, but this mission would be classified as an S-Rank mission. You will be in the enemy territory surrounded by shinobis that might discover your intentions. Do you think you're ready?"

" Yes, Lord Hokage."

Hokage:" Good, and I wish the both of you good luck."

Shikaku:" You two will go in the morning, for now you should rest, and once you leave, you'll both need to meet up with the spies at the border of Kirigakure. They'll be meeting with you at the docks."

" So basically, we're going to get information than get out, right?"

Hokage" Yes."

Kakshi:" Welp, let's go, Yuto, you need to tell your parents you'll be gone for a while for a mission and get some supplies for the road."

" Alright."

Hokage:" Now that's done, you both are dismissed."

Arriving home, I told my parents I'll be gone for a while for a mission. They nodded, and Yuriko made some bentos for the road.

I'm going to my room to see Shiro, who has been sleeping all day.

" Sigh, why do I keep forgetting you. Maybe because I was in Attack on Titans without you for a year. Come Shiro, we got a mission."

Shiro:" Meow."

Opening the cover for a secret compartment. I took some bombs into my inventory that I crafted.

Heading downstairs, I said my goodbyes to my parents.

" Alright, I'm going now!"

Yuriko:" Be safe!"

Hiroshi:" Kick some ass Kid!!"

With Shiro on my shoulders, I ran to the village gates to meet up with Kakashi.

Kakashi:" Alright, kid, let's go."

" Can't believe they're letting a nine year old to collect information."

Kakshi:" Can't believe I have to go with you."

" You're just jealous. I get an S rank mission this early."

Kakashi:" I'm not."

Both of us were conversing as we both headed towards the docks of the land of fire.
