"Show me how to do that!" Reqiel asked again, coming over again but making sure to keep his distance from the fish.
Andras wasn't too eager to let the Angel get too close to the fish again, so he repeated his evasion tactic, "Some other time." As he said that, he walked over with the trio of fishes he had impaled, handing Reqiel one of them.
Reqiel took it with shaky hands and Andras couldn't exactly tell if it was from excitement or fear. He had been able to force the blunt end of the stick through the fish by sheer strength alone; anyone else would have needed to sharpen the edge of the stick.
He curiously studied the Angel as he squatted beside the fire, looking nothing like royalty in his rolled-up sleeves and wild hair, eyes gleaming as he smoked a fish over an open flame.
