Chapter Fifty four

 " Who moved the date for the general shareholders meeting" Sam shouted as soon as his assistant came into his office. The chilly voice he used made the female assistant who was just fresh out of college to tremble.

 " Answer me now or have you gone deaf" He said to his assistant who looked like she was about to cry. This was the main problem when you hire someone just because of a favor you need from their family. 

 " I am sorry, sir. I heard that the shareholders held a meeting the other day and that must have been when they decided on it" A colleague had hinted at her that a closed door meeting was going on for the shareholders but nobody had known the reason for it.

 " You heard?" Sam said with a low chuckle, " Are you an idiot? Don't you know how to be confident"
