[Bonus chapter]Don't lose the baby

Ivy Wei planned to stay and keep Heaven company until the latter's parent-in-law came. However, in the middle of their chat, Ivy received an emergency call. With a heavy heart, she had to bid Heaven goodbye. 

Heaven was not someone who would hold anyone back. Therefore, she sent her off, despite Ivy's insistence not to bother. 

"She didn't have to look at me as if she's going to abandon me," murmured Heaven, standing under the portico as she watched the vehicle speed away. "It's not like I will be alone once she leaves..." 

The smile on her face faded slightly, turning her head back to the door. "Right, Silas?"

Silas was leaning against the jamb. His arms were folded under his chest, donning casual clothes, smiling at Heaven. 

"Well, I was gravitating whether or not I should accompany my cousin's wife," he said with a friendly smile. "Considering how your husband and brother-in-law view me, I was afraid you are also wary of me."
