Chapter 402 – He passed

A few hours earlier

"Matilda, I think I'm in labor, you have to…" Sabrina did not finish her statement but Matilda knew what to do. After hanging up the phone, she woke up Devin from sleep.

"Devin, I have to go to the hospital. Sabrina is in labor."

Devin did not hesitate as they dressed up and left the penthouse. Arriving at the hospital, the timing was perfect as Sabrina had not arrived.

"Devin, I want to use the ladies' room. Please wait here," Matilda said. Devin nodded his head since the washrooms were not far from the waiting area.

"Be careful," Devin said and waited. As Matilda headed to the ladies' room, she branched to the doctor's office. 

Since she had been there for her antenatal checks and was attended to by the same doctor, things were easy.

"Good morning, Doctor Britany." The doctor lifted her head from what she was doing and smiled at Matilda.

"Tilly, how are you?"
