A day before the party

"Martin, I agree with you that we should leave New York City for a long time," Mara said. 

The company was in shambles and the police were still looking for Martin. 

Their lives were in jeopardy and Martin could only step out of the mansion under disguise and a false identity.

Besides, if they left, Mara would have Martin all to herself and would be able to tell him about her pregnancy. 

To her dismay, Martin said,

"I changed my mind. I'm not leaving without Sabrina." 

For the past few days, he always looked frustrated, unable to get over his childhood crush but unknown to him, his words were tearing Mara's heart into shreds.
