Chapter 92 – Daniel’s strategy

The next day, Daniel went to JC Clothing to see Lizzy. At the reception, he was having a hard time with the playboy he was. It was not easy for him to convince the receptionist to let him in.

"Hi, I'm Daniel Root, and I want to see Elizabeth James," he posed in front of the receptionist and requested. 

The receptionist checked through the guest list and did not see a name that looked or sounded like his, so she asked,

"Is it official or personal?" 

"Personal," Daniel responded and leaned in. The receptionist blushed at the closeness but responded professionally,

"I'm sorry, she's very busy."

"Business," Daniel quickly changed his stand after seeing his mistake. If he used a personal reason, then it meant that, indeed, if Lizzy was busy, she would not have time for personal stuff. Whiles he thought that was the end, the receptionist asked again,

"Do you have an appointment?"
