PACT OF TWO MASTERS

A flicker of defiance sparked in Claudia's eyes as she processed his ominous intentions. "You want to sleep with me? You should have just said so," she remarked with a mixture of sarcasm and disbelief.

Renard's face twisted in disgust at her misunderstanding. "Sleep with you?" he retorted, a disdainful edge to his voice. "You are not my type, Claudia. I was talking about killing you."

Claudia's eyes widened in terror as she gasped with fear, "Don't you have the fear of God?"

Renard chuckled, his eyes two orbs of darkness as he stared at her, "You lost yours when you compelled our beloved Felix here to beat me, why shouldn't I lose mine!" He remarked in anger and stabbed her in the leg.

Claudia screamed out in pain! She could not believe that Renard would stab her. The reality dawned on her.
