Kian's P. O. V
The blast caused the entirety of the underground area to quake, I quickly got off my feet and did like she told me to. I ran, before the blast would bury me underground and I didn't stop to look back.
She wouldn't want that, and I wasn't going to let her sacrifice go in vain. The bastard who did this, he was going to regret ever crossing me.
I hastened the pace and just barely, I was able to escape into the room we used to come down here. It was already filled with rubble and debris, and the ceiling was broken.
At the close distance, I could hear the sound of panicked voices, charging an escape. They were still here, Daniel was still here. At this point, I didn't care about anything, more than I did about killing that bastard, and with my own hands too.
