He watched Sonra and Scry attack the beast and was honestly surprised when it used a direct physical magic attack.

After observing from his distance, he realized that truly some sort of paralyzing magic was being used on his other party members, as they’d been in the same position despite the frightened and wary look in their eyes.

He also noticed something weird about Caitlyn in particular. Her eyes, hair, and the eyes of her teddy bear were all glowing bright blue.

He ignored it at first and was about to go for the beast once more when a notification from his system popped up.
