Gyarados vs Moltres

Back at the island people were silent, after seeing the 'chosen one' call up a Red and Giant Gyarados and hop on before sailing into the literal sunset,

Everyone from the islanders to the random tourists watching where in stunned silence as the rain started pouring down because usually these 'chosen one' hero challenges are bits, they last 3 hours at the most, even when older trainers come and become the 'chosen one' they never saw anything like this.

Since Ash didn't use a Pokeball, he just whistled like he summoned the serpent from the water, except for the people who already knew, the rest of them were only now starting to process this.

Mollie put a skewer in her mouth, "I still can't get used to how he rides that thing,"

Orla nodded, "Yeah I forgot he had that,"

Tobias the village elder looked at the two in surprise, "Wait, you mean to tell me that beast he rode was his?"

"Yeah, Ash has a few Pokemon like that," Liko said looking off as Ash went into the waves that were starting to pick up.

As they were starting to recover, suddenly the waves became even stronger, and the rain and wind began blowing harder, torches that had been set up for that specific occasion were extinguished as banners and food started to fly out of people's hands.

Just then Friede and Captain Pikachu came running in after what he was doing, looking around quickly, "What's going on, where's Ash?"

Roy was holding onto a plate of food trying to make sure he could keep eating it with Cyndaquil, "He went into the water again with his Gyarados!"

Friede's eyes narrowed, "What in this weather, that's way too dangerous,"

"Isn't it going to be fine, it's still Ash after all," Orla said as the wind shot extra hard forcing everyone to hold onto the table to not go flying,

"The storm's bad. What if Ash can't make it to the island?" Liko asked looking at everyone who now seeing the waves of the ocean crash into the sides of the islands believed that it might be a real possibility,

Friede looked at everyone, "We have to go get him! It's way too dangerous, he may have his Pokemon but there's not a chance he was prepared for something like this,"

Everyone nodded and Orla sighed, "I'm going to have to put more repairs on the ship aren't I,"

Mollie put a hand on her shoulder, "Probably,"

With that Friede, Captain Pikachu, Orla, Mollie, Liko, and Roy got up and were about to start running to get back on the ship but then Melody stepped in front of them

"Wait, I'm going too, you guys don't know where you're going you need a guide," Melody announced

Everyone was surprised and Carol walked up, "Melody, what are you doing?"

Melody looked down and out at the raging water, "He's caught out in the storm because of our stupid ritual, and I'm the one who picked Ash for it. I just hope he's alright."

They looked at each other then at Cap, then Friede walked up and put a hand on her shoulder, "Alright, if you're offering we won't turn you down,"

Melody nodded as they started moving, with a little protest from Carol and Maren, but they knew how Melody was, so they just hoped she would be Ok.

Along the way as they were running, Murdock walked up looking around holding a plate of some new cuisine he learned,

"Hey, what did I miss?" Murdock asked.

They didn't stop running, Friede just reached out and grabbed Murdock pulling him along and making him drop the tray he was holding, "We can explain on the ship!"

Once they got on the ship they ran to their stations and Friede brought Melody to Ludlow, "Ludlow, we need to start sailing, this girl is named Melody she knows where to go!"

Ludlow looked at Friede, for just a second too long and then started the ship, "You really should stop Kidnapping kids,"

And with that as the last words the ship started sailing and started moving after where Ash was going, which was Fire Island.

Over with Ash, he stopped smiling, he was holding onto Gyarados trying not to fall off, even though he knew this was going to happen still hard to prepare, but he did, although he didn't have all his Pokemon with him, he dropped off a few in some of their homes so they can make up for lost time.

But he was confident enough with what he had on him, it still should be more than enough,

But anyway, he was still not playing around right now, that's the main reason he chose to go alone, sure he knew they were probably coming after him but he didn't think about it.

He knew what he needed to do so his main plan was to get the orbs as fast as possible and then go kick Lawrence in the teeth, and his first stop was the place he knew there wouldn't be the guardian, Fire Island.

The first one Lawrence caught was Moltres leaving Fire Island defenseless, he was planning to get the orb before Zapdos arrived to try and take over, then when Lawrence arrived he could deal with him quickly.

As he arrived at the shore of Fire Island he could see a lot of Pokemon starting to swim away, and looking at the island he could see the stairs that led up got crushed under some rocks so he tapped Gyarados on the head.

As soon as he did that Gyarados understood the command and started floating out of the water, then full-on flying as they started to fly to the top of the island.

When they reached the top, however, something surprised him, something that just threw all of his plans out of the window, in the center of the mountain sitting above the spot where the orb was, was Moltres.

As soon as Moltres noticed the Giant Red Gyarados, it immediately flew into a rage and extended its wings.

Ash gulped as he could see Gyarados was looking like he could take it, spoiler he couldn't, but that didn't mean that Ash dismissed the idea.

Ash hopped off with Pikachu holding onto his shoulder and looked at Gyarados, "I need to stall this thing!" 

Gyarados nodded confidently, as Ash sighed at his hubris, so he chose to help by pressing on his wrist, "Mega Evolve,"

Back in the water, Ludlow was sailing the ship towards Fire Island, Melody was standing near the front looking out which was concededly Liko's job on the ship,

Melody was worried but not as much as it looked like Liko was, Melody tried to lighten the mood, "You know for someone who's not his Girlfriend you sure seem to worry a lot,"

Liko blushed taking her eyes off the front of them since the island was a good bit away, "Wh-no, he's a boy and he's a friend that it, we aren't dating,"

Melody enjoyed the teasing, "So he's single?"

Liko gulped, "I, I don't know maybe-"

But she was suddenly stopped when the ship started to shake, when they looked back out they saw that they were now on the rocks of the shore,

"Well I'll be," Ludlow said as he couldn't sail anymore

Friede rushed up and looked at Liko, "What happened, weren't you supposed to keep a lookout Liko?"

LIko was embarrassed and struggling to explain herself but Melody stepped in and pointed to the back, "Look the water is retracting,"

When everyone looked back they could see that the water was starting to go down leaving them 'stranded' but they were at least off the coast of Fire Island.

Although Orla was panicking, not for getting stranded, but because she would have to repair all of that and she was scared to check how bad it was.

Friede sighed and nodded seeing that it wasn't Liko's fault, then he looked at the mountain they needed to climb, "Let's split up, some of us go up to check if Ash is there and the rest stay here on the ship,"

Melody stepped up first, "I'm going,"

Seeing this Liko gulped but stepped un next to her, "Me too," she was still very nervous.

Roy jumped down from where he was and gave a salute, "I want to go too!"

Friede nodded and seeing that the rest of them wanted to stay on the ship he turned back to the island, "Ok then it's us 5, with me and Cap, everyone take care of the ship!"

After a confirmation they started running up and traveling around the rocks that were now blocking the stairs, the entire time they could feel the mountain shaking.

When they finally struggled and reached the top they were greeted by seeing the source of the shaking.

A Moltres and Mega-Gyarados were fighting it out, meanwhile, around the side they saw Ash and Pikachu sneaking around and running towards the altar to grab the fire orb.

As soon as Ash pulled the orb out Moltres noted him and just as it was about to attack Ash, Mega-Gyarados came in with the save by hitting the thing with a +2 Aqua Tail to its back.

And for the first time, Moltres let out a screech of pain as it got sent to the ground, only now did everyone including Ash notice something, there was a tint of something purple around Moltres' eye.

And only Ash knew what that was, which just made him more worried, and then he saw that others were already here

Ash called out, "Gyarados we have what we came for!"

In the Airship in the sky, Lawrence III was watching the show and he was quite grateful to see that Ash was willingly helping him by weakening of Moltres, even if was just a little,

"My my, it truly is wonderful when others help those they should," Lawrence smiled as he pressed the button to charge the cannon, "But a good collector must get their hands dirty,"

As the cannon charged he looked down again noticing the people and smiled as he prepared not 1 but 2 cadges, "They should feel honored, after all, what good is a collection if you can't show it to other people,"

With that, he pressed the final button, and Zapdos's screech could be heard throughout the ship.

Back down Moltres was starting to get up and as he looked at Ash and Gyarados and then finally at the new people a new rage entered its body as its eyes became purple and a slight shadowy aura surrounded it.

At that moment Moltres got a second wind and shot up at a rate that Ash didn't expect and it started charging to shoot a powerful blast of fire at them.

Ash quickly started thinking about what to do as he could see that the rest of them weren't prepared in the slightest, but he didn't have to do anything.

Suddenly a blast from seemingly nowhere came out and shot Moltres in the side, sending it slamming into the side of the mountain.

Then as everyone recovered from the surprise of a surprise blast 6 circular disks came out of the sky and only now did they realize there was a giant airship flying up in the clouds.

They each split into 2 and one went to Ash, Pikachu and Gyarados, one to Moltres, and the last to Friede, Liko, Roy, Melody, and Cap.

The first one a Moltres surrounded it and created an electrical cage that the weakened firebird couldn't resist, and Ash understood what they were so immediately he called on Pikachu, who sent out a weak electrical field disrupting the disks, but the others were fast enough.

When they saw what Pikachu did Cap was about to do it but the cage was created right before he could do it so it was no longer effective since it would only be absorbed by the cage.

Then those in the cages started to float up and go into the sky towards the giant airship.

Ash's eyes narrowed as he grit his teeth, "Dang it!" 

As he saw them go he decided to make a change in plan and flew not up, but down. He was going to the Brave Olivine,

As he flew down Gyarados went back to base as they arrived Ash hopped onto the ship catching everyone's attention.

"Ash? Where's Friede and the rest?" Orla asked

"They got taken but I don't have time to explain I'm going after them," Ash said as he let out Charizard.

"What?!" Murdock said in surprise, "Wait, you're not just going to brush around that!"

"Don't have a choice, I'm going, meet us at Lightning Island!" Ash said as he threw his phone where the directions on how to get to Lightning Island were already there.

But Mollie interrupted, "How do you expect us to do that when we're kinda stranded?" she said pointing to how the ship was no longer in the water.

Ash flew up, "Simple, Gyarados [Surf],"

Gyarados smiled as he slammed his tail on the ground and water started rushing out catching the ship and sending it back into the water as they started being forced to sail away.

Then Ash looked at Gyarados, "I need you to start getting Pokemon out of this area as fast as you can," Ash pointed at the center between the islands where he could feel a strong Aura coming from at the very bottom.

Gyarados looked out and nodded as he sank into the water, meanwhile, Ash, Pikachu, and Charizard started to fly up, aiming to crash this little party.

I'm out of the hospital, yay... anyway if there are any mistakes I'll fix them later
